I find it odd that they've tried to remove all the blood from the GBA port, but there's still a huge splatter on the shotguy's shirt.

This is a great hack it's too bad you lost interest. Though I guess since DS Doom is out there really isn't a place for it though it is a great hack job.

There is a Chinese device with a number of fans that plays GBA roms that is itching for hack/homebrew though.

Used to play this on the bus to Vo-Tech when I was in High School cost me $40 back in the day. O.O; Great DooM port.

Green blood not that bad baron an knights should have green blood by defualt. Personally i kinda like green blood its a nice change. But black blood would be even better XD. i wish some one would iether make a black blood or green blood mod for DooM3

I saw your review. i would have to agree that the port isnt very good because of sound and controls and whatever, but you have to remember that its only the GBA and it cant handle what the PC could, and there is a limited amount of buttons and memory for the GBA. But after all of that, this port is still my favorite just because it was the first port of Doom i have ever played. But nice review anyway.

Constructing maps for these types of games were always an unexplored passion of mine. The task always seemed alittle too arduous for me. I dunno if you are familiar with QED for Quake, but I used to tinker around in that.

The graphics are great for GBA, but its been censored to shit! I don't want to see green blood damned! People might say its nitpicking, but try to play a game like Soldier of Fortune without the blood and all and you know what I mean, it ruins the game.

Nintendo had nothing to do with it, they gave it green blood to get a T rating. Nintendo only did that shit in the SNES days, they stopped caring now.

They had no need to fit it for a T, the original for Windows/DOS back in '93 had an M, why tone it down? It's not like young kids are the only ones that play GBA.
