I've played this. Hungarian Rhapsody #2. - Liszt.  Very challenging. Took me a solid 7 months.

Shine é um dos meus filmes prediletos em se tratando de biografia.Os estados do ser são raramente tão bem retratados na sétima arte quanto nesta obra. Rachmaninoff foi excepcional e toca-me de forma extraordinária bem como a vida de David Helfgott .

assisti diversas vezes e, quando acho que a vida está pouca reasisto para entrer em contato com minha multiplicidade de estados do ser e remexer as profundezas do inconsciente através da história de David e da comoção que a música provoca

I read that Geoffrey Rush himself played this piece in the film?

@silverstartrucker Nah, he just did the piano 'stunt' himself. So he could play something somewhat like the actual piece, just the original recording was used over the top to properly represent David Helfgott.

Great piece, though.

@rai1331 Nah, that was actually a david helfgott recording. But Geoffery Rush did play the song in the movie. Just the actual sound you hear in the movie was from the original david helfgott recording. The playing's synchronised, so the expressive nature of the performance is still authentic David Helfgott.
