@AceDagger1 It was Brian Hildebrand who put a guillotine on a fan in the ring. He actually was a well-trained wrestler. The only thing that held him back was that he only weighed 150 pounds soaking wet
wow you could tell Mark Curtis wasnt used to cutting promo's lol i remember watching this feud live on TV every Saturday on the uswa show and the smokey mountain wrestling show. this is the story line from the uswa point of view the smw story was basicaly the same thing only pg-13 were the bad guys. great old school wrestling thanks for the uploads man
@bubbadin30 : Dude, you don't know what you're talking about... this promo is a million times better than anything you'll see on Raw or TNA these days... RIP Brian Hilderbrant.
@DeepSouthWrestling1 yes it better then anything you see on wrestling today my only point was that mark Curtis wasn't used to cutting promo's how many refs had you ever seen cut a promo. other then Danny Davis and he turned wrestler. before this story line or the Danny Davis story line in the wwf way back in the day the ref's were just the guys that kept the matches on time and moving along. but if you keep watching you'll see Curtis get better as he gets used to speaking on cam.
@DeepSouthWrestling1 really i did not know that but then again that shouldn't be surprising lol back then if you didnt see them wrestle on tv or read about them in the magazines it was hard to really know who was doing what. thanks for the info
@bubbadin30 : Check out Foley's first book... they were trained together and came up in the indies together also. Most promotions wouldn't give Hilderbrant a shot because he was so small... Cornette was literally the only person who saw anything in him, and he served as Corny's right hand man throughout SMW's entire run... this was the only time he actually got to "heel"... dunno if it's on YouTube or not, but he also posed as a fan in Memphis and Eddie Gilbert beat him up... he loved Memphis...
If I'm right (it could of been Randy Anderson too), I believe Hildebrand took down a fan interfering in a match on a live WCW show

@bubbadin30 : Actually, Curtis had been trained as a wrestler and worked in small indies up north, so he was pretty used to cutting promos...
