  • That's pretty cool. I actually spent all day trying to follow Andrew Price's tut on image mapping (similar) and just made a mess. grrrr. One day.

  • maybe this is an obvious question, but would this be a good way of adding 'deckles' to an object that already has a mapped texture? Or, by using a png with an alpha channel, would it be used to add dirt to a character's face?

  • @huffleboy Objects can have 10 textures, so you could use this technique to add images with alpha channels.

  • This is great for decals

    Thank You !

  • Cool tutorial, I already knew this method, what I didn't know was that you could scale simultaneously two axis at once, wow thank!, shift + axis key. Sweet!

  • @theRedRage That's pretty cool, I'm glad you got something out of it!

  • @theRedRage

You can also limit translation (movement) and rotation to two axes, very useful when in rotated view.

  • @0xoxol0 I hadn't thought of that, thanks for the tip : )

  • This Was Very Helpful (As Are All Your Tutorials) Kepp Up The Good Work :)
