@spencerhopkins91 diesel power?..the rules table are now studied just to advantage this kind of engine in this race..just a market question..when they won t be interested no more in selling diesels the rules will be impartial again..and you won t see diesels in les mans anymore..just as in the past..a commun N/A 2.0 L4 DOHC gasoline develops around 140-150hp..the same engine diesel develops 75-80hp..period..using turbos on both the difference is the same..modern diesel reliablility doesn t exist

@spencerhopkins91 moreover torque is very useful only to move big weights..even more important than power in certain cases..for trucks for example (just the motorhead can weight 7tons..) or in rally cars..300-350hp for more than 600nm..newton meter for you..the relation power/torque of a diesel engine..to have a better response on dirt..the only thing in which diesels win is the efficiency(u don t know what does it mean..),but when u pay more,got a more expensive maintenance and have less fun..
