  • Hi Mr Chan YK . :)

  • Worst woodworking video online today.

  • did anyone else notice that the yellow of the hammer lag behinds the hammer?

  • Would you make a video about how to properly use, and read, the dial, on a metal protractor from General tools. I am having great difficulty using it along with a sliding bevel square, and the two used together. your help would be most appreciated.

    thanks

  • You can do it this way OR you can buy a box att the wall mart for 2$.

  • seriously why does expert village go through the trouble of making these videos if they suck. They have videos that cover almost everything... but most all of them suck. Just don't see the point.

  • Always use expertvillage to know what not to do; worst teaching aid ever...

  • These videos tell you fuck all!

  • expert village fuckin sucks!!!

  • The question is...how to make those slots and where to find those biscuits?

  • Only gluing the biscuits and not the entire joint surface would make this a very, very weak joint - biscuits are intended to be alignment aids, not floating tenons.

  • @danno1111 I was just going to write a comment saying this.

  • is this as strong as finger joints or dovetails I want to build a large speaker cabinet for my guitar amplifier. I am new to wood working projects

  • This is not even close to the strength of a finger joint. Biscuits are good for alignment and not strength. A finger joint has friction fit. The glue is only to keep the joint from coming apart. Also count the fingers, a biscuit

has the strength of 1 finger. I use biscuits for edge gluing. They help keep the boards aligned while I get the clamps on.

  • Wood burns on the edge. Somebody's table saw isn't aligned right.

  • that is not how you glue up box joint.

  • what tool/device do you use to make the biscuit slots/cavities? many thanks for sharing

  • A biscuit or pate joiner.

  • I like the technique you used to make this box it reminds me of the shoe cubbies or a simple shadow box...I must admit Mister DIY that you are awesome

  • this sucked
