Have you tried the custom eyes eye liners? I have both the gel liners and the pencil liners and I LOVE THEM! Both are really creamy and really pigmented, the gel liner comes with a brush that I really like and they're stackable too :D

I just bought one of these and I think I'm going to really like it.

It cost me about 17 Canadian dollars instead of 10 - 11, but I guess that isnt too bad since other eyeshadows weren't a lot cheaper and physicians formula tends to be kind of expensive for drugstore makeup.

@ItsNotSymmetrical where did you buy them? im cdn and i think i saw it for less than that at wal mart; never get things from shoppers unless there is a sale bc they charge so much more for things. i find wal mart generally has the best cosmetics prices :) and if u did get it at WM maybe they were on sale when i saw them lol

Look at the veins on your wrist. If they appear more blue, then you're cool toned. If they look more green, then you're warm toned. You can also think of it in terms of jewelry. If silver looks better on you, you're cool toned. If gold looks better, you're warm.

I really love how you show the closeups at the end with the packages and then the product on your skin...it really makes it a lot easier to appreciate what the product will end up looking like...and these especially are even prettier on skin than they are in the package. wow i'm really surprised that you like these! i have the pop green eye palette too, and i find the pigmentation isn't that great! and the only high end shadows i own are urban decay, so it isn't like i'm comparing it to a ton of high quality eye shadows- because i don't own them. i have found so many drugstore eye shadows with much better pigmentation! so i'm really surprised by our opposite opinions! nevertheless, i still value your opinion and love your reviews! I had the green eyes pallette and I hated it. I gave it away. I am not a makeup snob most everything I own is drugstore. I was not using primer at that time maybe that would have made a difference but I would not bet my $ on that product again.

@xokellie8228ox there are several videos on youtube. If you can see blue veins through your wrist you may be cool toned if silver looks better on your skin you may be cool toned. If Gold looks better than you may be warm.

Its not foolproof some people are in the middle. I am cool toned but Yellow gold looks awsome on my skin because I have snow white skin. To me it seems to work out that those who are fair are cool toned and those who are olive skinned and ethnic are warm toned

i hateeeeee/loveeee these. just wait, once you get like half of the shadow used up, the shadows are all swirled into each other and its impossible to use and the colors look so icky. so its really not worth it. :(

What eyeshadow base would you recommend using under these pallets? I have the shimmer strip for blue eyes, and it creases on me all the time. I use an E.L.F. primer that is fantastic and has no problems with any of the other brands I use, so I'm wondering if it's just the quality of the particular shimmer strip I have or if I need to use something else as a base underneath.

@MakeupByM5 the product in the shimmer strips line that is similar to the BB shimmer bricks is called Shimmer Strips Custom Bronzer, Blush & Eye Shadow. They are square like the shimmer bricks :) Of course, the eye color palettes can be used similarly if you find the right colors, like the bronzey shadows.

@bonniemom I think wearing any shadows in these combinations would make your natural eye color look brighter or more intense. I have noticed when I wear these specific shades that my eyes do look more green.

@bonniemom I've used the one for blue eyes a TON and they definitely make your eyes pop. In fact...when I use my palette, people say my eyes look almost like they are glowing because they appear to be such a brilliant blue. A fantastic product, worth the $8-10  it costs!!!
