Poeple start overclocking > overclocking turns into a trend > Intel sells unlocked cpu's called K-series making overclocking even more popular > People go into their bios more often > the bios starts getting devolped.

I wonder where we'll get with this domino line, where will it end?

Trouble is you cant get into the BIOS because of bloody MemOK! Which in my experience doesn't work with compatible memory let alone any memory as Asus claim. On thinking about it putting a button on the mobo for punters to push when it doesn't work with the memory is a bit of an admission that they don't the boards to work

I remember a Ami bios from about 1996 or so, that was graphical, cool stuff for its time, and the compaq Miniwin 3.1 bios, cool stuff.

@taltigolt Most likely not, UEFI bios uses a larger memory footprint I think 128k instead of 64k :(

Dell have had the option to use a mouse in BIOS for some time now,but this EFI is way better

I remember a graphical bios in the 90s but I have no clue who made it. It wasn't this graphical or attractive but you could use a mouse with it.
