Grania is the first book I have read from Morgan Llywelyn. It was very easy to grow attached to Grania in the story. The characters were all captivating. The characters' place in history gain special meaning and significance in the book. The book draws an atavistic response to embrace life and rise above adversity. This book is so much more than a historical story to me... it is a message from Eire. For us. Today.
She loves irish history.

I loved this book (and the new musical)! Nice interview; do wish you lot had showed us the portrait Llywelyn was describing, though! ;-)
