This is a brilliantly well made video. Normally, people don;t put this much effort into videos like these, but you definitely proved yourself. The quality is rich and vibrant, and I like the little explanations you put at the top. Plus, I love the fact that you took the time to put in different variations of the transformations and explain exactly how the transformations work. A lot of people don't know that the transformation sequences are dragged out for the viewers enjoyment.

Yeah, I believe all magical girl transformations are really quick, and the extended 'fancy' version is for the viewers enjoyment (and to take up a bit of time for the episode reel). And, when Ichigo transformed at the end, while she was falling, it took her longer to say the transformation words then it did to actually transform. Heh. They really have to say a mouthful. ^.^

At least their Japanese names match their colors. 4Kids just picked names randomly and changed things without looking ahead.

And if 27 was never dubbed, like you say(which it's NOT by the way), why would you ask if anyone has it if it's not there?

As I put down, that was a fansub mistranslation. The way the Japanese spelt her weapon and her attack was suppose to be a combination of her name, Zakuro, and their spelling of the word Cross, Kurosu, so it combined into Zakurosu, which means ZaCross. I have an original Japanese episode script as proof and if you actually listen to her talk, you'll her hear say ZaCross.

Because that's what the English anime dubbers, 4Kids, called it. Besides Strawberry Bell, all of the weapon names were changed in the English version, the same with the names, the title of the show and some of the actual plot. Just because it's an English dub, that doesn't mean they were faithful to the original translation.

What I'm saying is that any fan of the original knows what Zakuro names means.

Now when I think about it, I think I enjoy such transformations even more than the whole anime, since I don't like girly shows though... But for the true fans of such animes, it should get boring watching such long transformations on every episode instead of the action & storyline... Anyway, nice job!

On the attacks, is it supposed to be "ribbon" or "rebourn?" I read somewhere that it should be "rebourn" and was mistranslated in the manga/subs. What do you think HikaYagami?

If it was just TokyoPop and fansubs that made the mistranslation, then how come so many other countries(including many Asian dubs) use Ribbon?

Also TMM is a story filled with puns(Strawberry Bell or StrawBell-Bell? Lettuce Castanets or Lettucetanet? Mint Arrow or Mint Tone Arrow?). So it could've been both if they wanted XD.

Right now, the only one that can convince me what is true is the creator herself but that's probably impossible.

Wow, it really only takes about one second to transform huh? That's makes sense. But I do enjoy the sequences.

I enjoy these group ones better than MMP mostly because they make more sense. In MMP they start Corina over and put in Kikki's attack sequence. Really annoying.

Her attack is actually the most mistranslated. TokyoPop called it "Zakuro's Pure" and sometimes even "Zakuro Pure" without the S.

The Pun wouldn't work in other dubs due to Cross sounding totally different in their language, so most language dubs just have her say her name and then a word(In Mandarin it's Shi-Liu Pure) and some just come up with something different(the Italian dub has her say "Ribbon of Energy" and the French says "Blow of the Sharp Whip").

Yeah, there are hundreds of videos like this, but this is the best so far. The quality is very good and it really includes all the transformations and attacks. A good job indeed.

And even if I've been fan of TMM for years and years, I've learnt something new: I knew Zakuro's attack was 'pure' like the manga, but 'zacross'? I've never imagined that. And it makes sense!

Her attack is a pun. In Japanese her name Zakuro can blend in with the Japanese word for Cross, which is spelt Kurosu. Then the spelling is ZaKurosu, turning it into ZaCross.

If it was suppose to be Zakuro's Pure then the attack in Japanese would say "Zakuro no Pyua." because in Japanese "no" is how to make a posession(the 's).

Zakuro's Pure was another mistranslation by TokyoPop(you notice that they sometimes just put down Zakuro Pure without the S as well).

Yes but it's with Japanese spelling. As I said, it's a Pun with the word Zakuro and the word Cross so the word would be ZaCross. A lot of the Mew Mews attacks are Puns using Japanese versions of English words(like Mint Tone Arrow and Lettuce Tanet, which your suppose to say really fast to make it a cross of the word Lettuce And Castanet combined).
