He was making a comeback at what? A failing run at the meet and

greet booth for that year's Autorama. With a cow like Adonis in that

van, that poor moose wouldn't have stood a chance.

So, it looks like we have some fans who don't know their history. Adrian lost 127 pounds in the last 6 months before his death (by car accident). This was one of his LAST fights in Japan (the month before he died), where he completely dropped the gay gimmick and started to re-adopt his badass leather jacket persona. This IS 1988 and this IS a lighter Adrian, who at this time was working out twice a day to make a comeback in the states.

At this time Adrian Adonis was attempting to make a comeback. He had returned to his previous NYC street thug gimmick & had dropped a ton of weight and was hoping for a return to the national scene. Unfortuntely, Adonis was killed in a car accident while working for a small Canadian indie promotion.

Sadly, less then 10 years later Murdoch also passed away from a heart attack.

Wow,can't say Adrian is 'thin' here, but he really did lose a lot of weight after leaving WWF. I was a fan way back and thought 'Adorable' was hilarious. He was great - the guy flew.

Now this was a real surprise for me. I had no idea that Adonis and Vader ever faced each other. In fact I was under the impression that Adonis died before White became Big Van Vader. Thanks for the history lesson.
