i got ANOTHER dwarf russian before, and it ended up dying, probably from all the stress from the other hamster. And they will fight alot, recommended to only get one, unless they were born together..

Haha i had a Russian Dwarf Before i came back from holiday and saw my baby hamster called Charlie laying under the stairs dead :'( had it for 6 mouths and now it's left with 1 more hamster called Jake who loves to eat and sleep but never drink! Haha, I'm going to give jake to my younger brother who's hamster just died too and its crying so much i gave him mine, I'm going to get 3 Chinese Hamsters.

@lilwayne98333 All of my hamster went on their wheel.. Is it an open wheel with spaces in between ? They can get their feet stuck in there and might give them a trauma.. If not, just place your hamster in the wheel and slowly move the wheel and it will probably understand it's something it can move/run on.

I have a dwarf hamster, and honestly I clean his cage once a month, but i freshen up his bedding once a week. I don't smell a thing! Only thing that annoys me is he refuses to pee on the bedding, he only pees on the wheel, he doesn't even use it -_-.

Russian Dwarf hamsters are good to get if you're concerned about odour. If you change the cage once a week with pine bedding, and wash the bottom of their cage,(little bit of mild soap in some water, I dry it down, especially the food dish and wheel.) and food dishes and playthings once a month, they are odourless.
