speaking of "harsh or brash lyrics" ...back in the late 1980's the magazine, "Guitar for the Practicing Musician" had the chord tabs and lyrics for this song.

For the second verse, instead of, "Well, I hear it's fine if you got the time..."

it read, "It ain't the average thang', they DO got the 'tang..."

That's 'tang' as in "poontang", "pussy",

And the line after that that says "I hear its tight most every night" is referring to pussy quality.
