Ok you say that you shouldn't start with a jailbroken iphone. Well I unlocked and jailbreaked my iphone before. The screen blacked out on me one day. I decided to unlock the iphone again using quickpwn software. But I haven't been able to get the iphone fixed. Can you please give me some feed back into how to fix my iphone or can it be fixed at this stage?? To anyone whos iphone/itouch freezes on apple screen:

-Turn off the device by holding the home+sleep button until it goes off

-Disconnect the device from PC

-Press and hold the home button and reattach to the pc until the "connect to itunes" screen comes up

-Restore the ipod through itunes

when i go to the devteam blog website, it has changed drastically since you have posted this video; there are no download links! i have downloaded quickpwn and it says it supports 2.2 1g ipod touch, which is what i have, but the actual quickpwn looks a lot diffrent than yours. in mine, you have to browse for the correct firmware, making you have to download a hacked version. i did this and now when i select it, it says "firmware error string"

ok, for those that had the same problem as me, i think i fixed it! what i did was hold down the home and power buttons for a long time like maybe a minute. after that the logo switched to like a guy that had a bubble above his head saying something in a different language. after that happen itunes was able to recognize my phone and i was able to hit restore! it is restoring right now so hopefully it will all go ok!

i really do not have the time to help everyone lol. i first had the ipod touch like a year ago and never ever had problems jailbreaking and i havnt with my current 3g iphone. its hard to resolve people's problems when i have never gotten any of their errors lol. my best bet is to just start googling your questions because there are many jailbreaking forums out there and will most likely find and answer to your problems

the download worked for me, but i click on the cydia icon it shows unable to load due to no internet connection. the wifi symbol is visible and after i put in the password to my network it shows connected but will not let me access any online apps. can someone tell me what i should do next.

then go bak to settings>Wi-Fi>and find your Wi-Fi and connect
