  • It's a spoof of the Outsiders- Greasers and Socs, or maybe Grease

  • I remember this alien monsters. Very Doo-Wop song. I love it. Very catchy!

  • They sound like angels at 1:20

  • Man that cow was gettin down lmao

  • Look's like Luke's having a good ol' time

  • who disliked this? you must've missed the like button or you're a killer.

  • always will love that cow solo!

  • I have the full version. Will post it soon. The singers are an a cappella group from New York called The Lemmings, plus Jim Henson, of course. They did another Sesame song called "1-40".

  • This should be a classic!

  • omg 1:50 sounds EXACTLY LIKE ELMO!!!!

  • @101zrocks omg you're right!

  • yeah , 1:43 the cow ;)

  • I love this, especially the meaning of the song! It's just like the Disney Song "It's a Small, Small World!"

  • I've been looking for this since forever!

  • I love the martians :D

  • @WhoAmI2YouNow Me to!!!!!!!!!

  • I bought the video of Elmo's Sing Along Guessing Games a long time ago, when my children were very small. This is a beautiful song. I specially like Kermit and the martians. When I was 5 I used to watch "Plaza Sésamo" and I remember the first time that I watched the martians in Spanish: Libro, Tierra, libro, Tierra...ja ja ja

  • Lol. I remember this! Its been ages. Love it. ;D

Come on Everyone, Lets get along! LoL ;P

  • DAMN! That cow gets off! Imma call it Cowsetto.

  • lol classic muppet cow

  • wow

What a great song! It's really catchy.

    ^_^

  • One of my favorite sesame street songs.

  • That's The Marcels.

  • I'd really like to see a group of people try to re-enact this.

  • how nostalgic. I remember when i was younger ripping the cows part. This is one of the best sesame songs i think.

  • How come neither Sesame Street OR the Muppet Show gang have ever thought of doing an actual send-up of "Grease"? This clip serves as an example of how much potential they have for pulling off 'We Go Together' in the classic Muppet style!

  • Get a Job. lol. 50's

  • Does anyone have a full version of this clip, including the intro when the martians pay homage to their earlier encounters of the past with a cow, then the twiddlebug family comes into the scene rolling a penny, followed by the 3 kids, then Kermit stops the arguement? "Alright, alright! You, you guys back there are going "Yip, Yip, Yip!", you guys down there are going "Twiddle, twiddle twiddle", you kids are going "Vroom, vroom, vroom", AND I AM GOING BATTY!" Please, post it all.
  • This song is also seen on the video "Elmo's Sing Along Guessing Game".

  • Oh my GOD! I had that VHS!

    lol

  • That's great! And therefore, I had it on VHS as well when the wrong tape was delivered to my house as it was supposed to be "Bully for Mr. Conductor" which is a STS Tape (they sent me that tape without any mistakes a few days later or so). But I didn't mind, so I seemed to enjoy it (including this song) until the tape wrecked.

And therefore, I have "Elmo's Sing Along Guessing Game" on DVD which is pretty good. That also means my mother got it for me on my birthday last year.

  • Wow! I have never heard seen this before but I love it. What a wonderful song. "Yup Yup Yup Yup Yup Yup!"

  • OMG! I love this song. And therefore, it's one of my favorite songs sung by Kermit.

  • It's not often SS dives into the A Capella music style.

  • True. Though, Sesame Street has paid homage to 1950's music time and time again. Honk Around the Clock, Eight Balls of Fur, so forth.

  • I don't think so. And I believe this is probably the only time Sesame Street dived into the A Capella music style.

  • No, there was "Down Below the Street" also.

  • Oh... okay.

  • This is up already? i havent seen it up anywhere til now

  • When I was little I saw this on the video: Elmo's Sing-Along Guessing Game. And I have this on the DVD:What's the Name of That Song?.

  • Everything I needed to know about life, I learned from Sesame Street (well, 90% of everything!). God bless you, Jim Henson, wherever you are now!

  • LOL @ the Martians moving their bottom lips back and forth to the beat of the music.

  • Yeah. At 1:10 XD

  • Yeah... I remember that.

  • @brightbite lol :D

  • He really did. It's apparent in the life he breathed into the Muppets, through the One who gave him his gift. Thanks to Frank and Richard too, of course.

  • Amen to both comments, my friend. Truer words have never been spoken. If there is anything that could bring people from all over the world together, It would have to be the wonderful, genuine creations the man gave us. We should owe our debt to Jim, and his colleagues like Frank and Richard, for bringing us all closer together.

  • Amen.

  • Jim had a real gift from God. Things haven't been the same since his death.

  • this is one of the finest musical Muppet numbers I've seen, and this is the first time I've seen it. I'm rebuilding my Sesame Sings Playlist, and this is going in it.
