In very sharp corners, they seem to drive the car to the outer edge to get around the corner, make it looks like they could not use the handbrake in the 4wd group B cars. What i have heard it is that way, is it true?

@nanofrass They could use the handbrake but youre right in AWD, unless you are going into the corner hot or swing the car into the corner already, using the handbrake is not very effective because the braking force goes through the center differential to the front wheels as well

I think that since technology in rally has progressed and spectator control has been...well controlled, they could make the rally cars of today with the same amount power as the cars back then, and things would still be just as safe

@stig670 : Couldn't agree more. I believe that today's WRC cars, though less powerful compared to the Group B cars of old, are as fast, due to their excellent cornering abilities. You can see very much in this video that the Group B cars are slow in cornering. Now, put as much power to today's WRC cars and you have a completely formidable rallying machine!!! YeaH!!!!
