@jaxx050679 I would assume yes, the algae may be good because they fix atmospheric nitrogen and provide food for microorganisms. However algae consume oxygen at night and can kill your fish from lack of oxygen if you don't have good aeration.
@danman911 (I am not replying to you specifically) I would like to know where the tomatoes are getting phosphorous. The fish emulsions should supply nitrogen, but where can phosphorous be introduced to the cycle? Also, you should use the algae as fish food, but keep it in a separate container from the emulsion.
@htiberian Your tomatoes are blooming and fruiting, so they are getting phosphorous. I should also mention that a glass container will reduce the amounts of plastic additives being absorbed by the plant.
You'll get better growth if you cover those tanks. The green water means algae. The algae is faster/better at absorbing nutrients than terrestrial plants.
