hey you should make a guard tower so you can see everyone better. also if you dont want spawners to spawn enemies put torchs around the blocks sides and they wont spawn on you.

Let me explain ice physics: Ice when broken becames a water source; unless there isn't a block directly beneath it. Or I should say it is merely air. In that case it breaks like glass. Now if you apply this theory, you can make a cave with the roof being ice, just pay attention before digging it out. Light filters through ice if you make said cave, but it is not strong enough to kill mobs. And you must put torches at least four blocks away from the ice to prevent it from melting.

I know your like done i guess with the series but dungeons only have a small little cave next to it and you can make a base. I do that with most of the dungeons i find and it really pays off. I have one right under my house so when i do work they still spawn.

@caliform I see you have serious problems with mobs surrounding your house. Just surround your house with cactuses and/or flaming stones and they'll keep dying. If you think it ruins your style, then just dig a 2 block deep pit so they'll be trapped.

You know you can place under sand while it's falling. if you put a torch all the sand is dropped. It's easier than digging 5 sand blocks away by hand.

03:44 I just love this, sry. xD I feel less weird knowing that I'm not the only one that jumps with skeletons. My mouse also jumps and I get lost. Every. single. Time. Sometimes the skeleton is right infront of me and I'm trying to evade it's arrows. Those arrows still scare me. Sometimes I select my bow instead of a block and shoot by accident when I'm building. Yeah, I normally dig a bit of a drop and then have a current push them into the drowning pit a bit further along. Theoretically, you could use the sunlight as a means of execution as well- of course, it would only work in the daytime.

Build stairs outside down to the level of the floor.
