One thing I've noticed about Rolf's how to draw cartoons programmes is that he never drew any Disney cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck. He always seems to draw the Warner Bros or Hanna-Barbera, etc. cartoon characters.
@cupcakefairy87 It was all due to him having to work with whatever cartoons the channel gave him. He did tend to draw Warner Bros. characters alot, but I've definitely seen him draw Donald Duck on Rolf's Cartoon Club, when they showed an episode called Drip Dippy Donald. And I'm fairly sure I've seen him draw Goofy on more than one occasion.
Disney are very protective of the copyrights to their characters, so it's not surprising really that Rolf rarely got to draw them on TV.
@143AC Oh, you betcha! (Would've been a wee bit pointless featuring them all in the opening titles only to not have them on the show, now wouldn't it?!) The show was totally brilliant - the only fault one could reasonably point towards was the (occasional) editing of the cartoons to fit the timeslots (the only reason they were cut, by the way - nothing else), but it remains exactly the way such material can & should be presented, for any audience. 'Cepting Tony Robinson's Stay Tooned, of course!
Does anybody else remember Rolf's Cartoon Club, which was shown roundabout the same time (in years),but on the other side? "It's Ro-o-ol-ff's Cartoon Club!" (strange panting and whistling noises)
I believe he used to say "See you on Ro-o-lfs cartoon club. Next week!" whilst doing some kind of fingersnap and face pat. Ah, sweet, awkard nostalgia.

Yes. It started on ITV when this show finished. Wasn't as good a show as Rolf's Cartoon Time, but the intro theme was (and still is) iconic.
