  • Salvation from your sins, is not at all about the Resurrection, it is about this world and the life you are living here and now. To be Forgiven Sins, is a Ministry of Jesus Christ by His Atoning Blood, which Reasons before God a justification to relieve the Guilt of Sin, now swirling around in your head, grieving you and destroying the life you do have. Jesus justifies us to feel better, to feel forgiven because Jesus can make everything work out right , if not today, then in Eternity

  • What were we "Predestined about " Adam was made in the Image and Likeness of God and if not for his sin , would have lived forever in Paradise. Seeing Adam sinned and God cursed "Dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return" Then Salvation is not about allot of things but only about one thing, The Damnation to Eternal Death called " Original Sin" was lifted by the Atoning works of Jesus Christ. It is then assured to all who come to Christ, that they will come back to life. That is it.

  • We Catholics still have a little belief about Purgatory, Because Salvation is only about the removal of Original Sin and the Promise of the Resurrection in Christ. Now,a Saint will have no further judgment, because they are Raised to Liberty in Christ, But some who are not ready for God & have all sorts of issues, even doubled mindedness, and are afraid, they do get raised up, assuredly, but then Jesus has to Judge ,some will get a very light punishment and others will be placed with hypocrites.

  • Going to Heaven and having no idea what to do with yourself forever, is allot like the old saying about a dead man's Wake. The people all gather around and see the corpse and say " Wow, he is all dressed up and nowhere to go" So, Salvation is only about being Raised from the Dead, and then, you have to have some idea of what life you wish to experience in God, seeing you will spend allot of time with God. Jesus said "Store your Treasures up in Heaven" A man is as a man thinks.

  • Now outdoors type people, they do not want a Mansion in Heaven and chances to add a Window here and there for every good deed. They do not want a Mansion in Heaven. What they want is a very good night's sleep and get up in the morning and go walking in the woods, find an old row boat and go fishing and make camp along the shore. Heaven is a product of your own Covenant Relationship with God, what do you want from God, that you might have , when Jesus raises you from the dead. ???

  • Some make "Eternal Security" sound like adding an Insurance Policy to your Home owner's Mortgage in case you get yourself in trouble. Christ only promised us to Raise us from the Dead. There is no need of "Security" towards that Promise, you ask Jesus and you get raised on the last day ,no matter what you did, good or evil. But what you get after being raised to life Eternal, that is where the Menu is complicated. Do you want a Mansion or do you just want to go hiking in the woods ?

  • Anyone who really wants to live in Heaven , being sincerely trusting in Jesus Christ, Then Jesus is Lord and Savior, not just about raising the dead to overcome the Original Sin, but Jesus is about a proactive Messiah all about you, to cause you to walk in the right way and makes supplication for you , if you fall into sin, and so Jesus takes the responsibility for getting you the Reward you wished for, but if you do not wish it, Hell may be pleasant as any other reward, and available.

  • @CarmineFragione My friend it is not about wanting or "not wanting" to live in heaven - God has already purposed who is children are before the foundation of the world. Jesus Our Good Shepherd will get His sheep home either with "or without" our cooperation. Don't you see it wasn't your choice, HE CHOOSE YOU IN HIM BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. If you choose HIM, then I can understand you need to keep yourself from falling, as you've put Jesus out of a job.

  • @BABYPEARS God chooses you, but God does not give you a Mansion in Heaven, if what you wanted was a rowboat along the river to fish in peace and quiet and feel the gentle wind. Being in Heaven, is a Perfect Relationship to God the Father, but having that, what you wish to experience out of that Relationship, God made all sorts of creatures and strange places and mysteries and the Thunder Storm with the Electric Smell of Sulfur and God made the pleasant Garden of Roses. You choose the Reward.

  • @CarmineFragione The mansion in Heaven represents our eternal salvation. And it is our obedience and good works "through Christ" will earn us rewards. Look at it this way.... Our Mansion is our eternal home which Jesus provided (that's safe, secured, and layed up in heaven for us) - But our rewards are are for the furniture of the mansion.

  • The part of which any person can lose is their Reward in Salvation , and so one can expect God to be Faithful in Christ to Raise all the dead and leave none under the Original Curse of Original Sin " dust thou art and to dust shalt thou return" that part is a Salvation that cannot be lost, you do get raised. But then Jesus offers the Holy Ghost to Teach you how to live in Heaven, or if you wish, you lose that offer, you can spend eternity in Hell, by means of your own rewards.

  • There is two principles to Salvation, First is overturning Original Sin which by it's curse meant all men die and never live again , "Dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return" So,Christ Atoned for Original Sin to make it His Authority then, to Raise all the Dead and then Christ will judge the Nations, which Christ has made God Justified to remove the Original Sin and cause all to be raised from the dead. Then ,Salvation means, where you spend Eternity, seeing the first curse is lifted.

  • You are a bishop??

  • @Mandracchia007 Yes, that is what God pre-ordained before the foundation of the world. Michael Reid to be a Bishop. Praise God

  • The idea of staying in the faith to the last breathe, is much like the idea of the power of positive thinking. Jesus said one can do works while it is day, and then the night comes when no one can do works. So to confuse your works as positive thinking to the last breath to get into Heaven , is a Heresy. No one can do the works, No one can stay so focused, so positive a zealot and never lose face. The Salvation is Resurrection, not a Mansion, Mansions are rewards for works done.

  • Anything that a man could lose, then he has already lost it. Salvation is a Beginning and an End of the Law, The Law says once a man has died, the Law has no further power over him. If one is then buried in Christ, then God sees the man as dead, and what the man sees is then irrelevant. So the Resurrection of the Dead is the Promise, the Salvation, and then Jesus said, one's works shall follow them. So to confuse the reward for works with salvation is a Heresy.

  • @CarmineFragione Amen brother!! It is my experance as a Christian, when I get closer to God, rather when God reveals more of His light to me, I see my faults and flaws so clearly, that I dare not trust in myself to keep my salvation. I would be a fool to try and keep myself from falling. Therefore, I find it strange for people to say it's up to them to save themselves and then keep themselves from sinning a sin that may take them to hell... He choose us - He keeps US!!!!!

  • The Good that God promises, that the man accepts, there is no repentance of the Good that God Gives. There is only God repenting of the curse, but never, never did God ever grant a bill of divorce to Israel to take back any Good Thing, So Salvation is the Resurrection, once saved, Jesus will keep His Promise, but the uninformed and wrongly taught will confuse the Reward of the Saints, as being the Salvation, when the Resurrection from the dead is the Promise, not the Reward.

  • this verse says it all. Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Jesus did die for our sins and when we accept him as our Lord and Savior it is out job after that with his help to keep ourselves saved, but if we go off in the world sinning we are no longer saved therefore no such thing as once saved always saved.

  • @tracygood1 It is my experance as a Christian, when I get closer to God, rather when God reveals more of His light to me, I see my faults and flaws so clearly, that I dare not trust in myself to keep my salvation. I would be a fool to try and keep myself from falling. Therefore, I find it strange for people to say it's up to them to save themselves and then keep themselves from sinning a sin that may take them to hell... He choose us - He keeps US!!!!!

  • Sin separates us from God, therefore if we sin we are not with God, so not saved.

  • @tracygood1 A butterfly may lose it's wings to fly again in the freedom it had when it was transformed from a caterpillar. Yes, it may die because his wings were broken off, but it can never be a caterpillar again. It has a new nature of a beautiful butterfly and will always be a butterfly. Once God's Spirit becomes One Spirit with you, YOU can NEVER go back to your old nature, for it is crucified with Christ.

May God open your eyes to see His wonderful GRACE

  • @BABYPEARS If you are born again and then go out sinning for the next 3 years you are no longer a born again christian (not saved). You are separated from God because of your sin and have to repent all over again. So you are not once saved always saved. There are no scriptures in the bible to support this once saved always saved theory. If once saved always saved were the case then why bother going to church? You would not need church since you got saved and can never go to hell because of sin.

  • @tracygood1 What misery you must have to keep yourself and not relay on Christ to save you

  • How does a person become unborn? If salvation Can be lost? Why would anyone get saved if you can loose it?

  • @Snoopy4406 I agree! If it was our choice to become "unsaved", I'm pretty sure we would mess up in the first week. Therefore, I take great pleasure in the fact that God is able to keep me from falling.

  • @Snoopy4406 Thank God He choose to do all this before you were born my friend. "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, " Eph 1:5

  • How does a person become unborn?

  • In Hebrew 6:4-6 why does it say that "if" you fall "away" they cannot come back if it is impossible to do so? (fall away from grace)

  • @mIPhoneShere So the Blood of Christ only covers (some) sin not all?Is that what you are saying?Book of Hebrews WAS NOT written to the Church.

  • @Snoopy4406 if you decide to go back under law (fall away from grace, by putting faith in your works rather in the Christ who saved you) - you will suffer loss on the day of judgement - But your spirit will be saved a s by fire - You cannot lose or reject your sonship. Read Charles Stanley's book "Security of the believer" - it explains all of these verses so well. God bless brother

  • @mIPhoneShere It doesn't say fall away from Grace (you've just added that unto it). Once your born again you can't get born again "again". You will be saved as by fire, but you will suffer loss (eternal rewards) if you decide to go back under law (fall away from grace, by putting faith in your works rather the Christ who saved you). Read Charles Stanley's book "Security of the believer" - it explains all of these verses so well. God bless brother

  • What if someone saved out of anger for example rejects salvation, but then later wants to be saved. Can tehy be resaved?

  • @SDNihil1 When God convicts your heart, and you respond to His salvation (crying out "what must I do to be saved", Jesus Christ baptizes you into the body of Christ and there is no-way out (You will go in and out and find green pasture).

  • 2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

2Pe 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

pretty simple if you ask me.

  • MATHEW 24:13

13 But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.

    AH!?? YOU DON'T THAT.
