@camirocz yeah i agree...thank god tho, cuz at 16 i wouldn't have made it to my 20's :) they had a fair amount of torque thou, made it "feel" fast. it was more of a cruising machine to me, with occasional burnouts lol
maybe it is a typo but 12.2 @ 121 i think is possible depending on power, tune, gearing, track, tyres, etc... I know my '85 bird was slower down low but as the spped picked up so would the acceleration.
What's your rear end gear ratio, how many speeds is your trans cuz I'm lookin' to build my 84 Monte Carlo & 86 IROC-Z with the same street/high performance/highway setup & by the way, 12.2 @ 122mph are beautiful numbers, especially for a naturally aspirated motor!, to all those Ford idiots who think they're hot with their 4.6's lol..

Hi. Rear end is 3.70. Trans is TH700 R4 with four speeds. Converter is 2500 stall but I change it to 3600 stall.
