5 years old normal twins don't need to be wearing diapers.they would been toilet trained at 2 or 3 years old.i understand if it was a 5 years old special needs child like down syndrome in diapers,but a normal child would been out of diaper wearing underpants at 5 years old.if this would been in the state i'm living in ,child services would took those children.and would't enter public school period.not with diapers on.(special needs child can enter) but normal child they can't enter school.

Behavioral problems do NOT always stem from poor parenting decisions. My son has Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD. YES, he does have behavioral issues with no fault of his or mine. He is improving daily thanks to educating myself and a fabulous occupational therapists. Please educate yourself before blaming parents for misbehaving children. There are many medical dx that may cause you to not have the perfect little angel, so please don't judge when seeing a child behaving poorly.
i think supernanny is doing a good thing by addressing the issue of the diapers being worn at such a late age. u can't just teach children discipline, you must teach life skills. if you don't or won't, why did you have kids? get urself fixed so you won't unleash these helpless misfits on society. a parent's duty is to create productive members of society. i swear, parenting classes should be a requirement BY LAW before someone brings a child into this world.

Viewed in context its even more freaky it wasn't just diapers it was everything bottles, highchairs, baby food. Can you imagine changing the diapers of a freaking 3 year old that pretty much ate baby food?

Just because a Child is wearing a diaper at night doesn`t mean they are going to get dependant on them.A lot of my studens are out of them at 6,one at 9.Also I known children that wet the bed into there teens that never had diapers.And what do you do if you want to take your child on a plane or to a nice hotel?.Diaper or no diaper the child is still going to wet the bed.
The nanny should know that a lot of children wet the bed she never asked the girl about this. Being an English preschool teacher in japan with over 140 studens I know there are a lot that still wet the bed. About 70% of my 4 year olds and 25% of my 5 year olds and some older still wear diapers at night. I would be very proud to have polite children like these.
The older twins are almost 5 years old! They shouldn't be wetting the bed still. Yeah, some children still do at this age, but if they're just gonna put them in nappies every night, then how are they gonna get out of that habit?

Every loving parent has a hard time accepting the fact that their children are growing up, whether they are getting potty trained or getting married, but either way, you can't hold your kids back at a certain transition point, especially at such a young age or it could seriously screw them up.

okay, for one thing, taht little girl is WAY to old to still have a bottle, so is the boy. Second of all, shes like what 4, maybe 5 and they STILL put a diaper on her? hello, the poor child has clearly stated she does NOT want to wear it. get your head out of your ass and listen to her before you scar her for life!
