All can be running 6s or better in the 1/4 mile.

@Dart00Z power curve for the SC is kinda weak, they dont hit peak HP and TQ numbers until about redline. TT G/Z cars on the other hand have a very strong power curve from 3K rpm up, which is when we are under boost (speaking for the VQ37VHR)
@VQStryker the best thing for that kind of power band (which is superior to turbo powerband, just not actual whp) is to upgrade the valvetrain and up the rev limiter, thats where blower cars shine. my friend has a 2007 civic si and it pulls hard all the way to nearly 10k with his supercharger set up.

@altimgamr i work on cars and i'm going to tell you right now that the 3.5 is garbage. whenever they come in theres always something little going on. and i've never seen one with more than 140k. the interior is also garbage. there is nothing good about it. the cluster is so boring and the orange glow is fucking annoying. the whole setup for the dash is stupid as fuck. volume adjuster is on the passenger side, the tune and volume "knob" is a button like something from a shitty 50$ head unit.

On street car races and occassional/ often 1/4 mile drag racing, .. a daily driver doing 11.9 is king of the streets (street legal). I had co-club members doing 11.2 1/4 ET of a FWD Pontiac Grand Prix sedan with a single turbo, good intercooler and self tuned, slicks. The G35 coupe definately has more potential, although its High Compression Ratio is its limiting factor, 'till some company makes modded cylinderheads for the G35 coupe. Everybody is running 30+ psi (the fast ones)..

@ironbull2003 just Fyi a Stock stage 0 SRT4 dynos 250-260WHP not crank WHP crank is around 300hp stock so yes a few bolt ons will net you 60-70 more hp to bring you into the 320whp range stock stage 3 factory srt4s come with about 310whp with only bigger injectors bigger turbine housing and a nicer tune from the stage and the car can achieve mid 10 second quarter mile times and around 425whp with out doing any internal engine work even low 11 sec 1/4 times with out replacing the stock turbo

353 RWHP (from the tire) is equivalent to 441 Engine (from crankshaft) Horse Power. An 03-06 G35 coupe only has a 3.5 litre, 6 cylinders with high compression ratio. A supercharger steals power from the cranshaft via a pulley, Turbo gets it from waste exhaust. 353 WHP (rear) is darn good!, from a supercharger. ..Watch out for detonation/knock.
A base G35 coupe has around 224 RWHP which is 280 Engine HP, with 270 foot pounds of torque from the crank/engine.

@altimgamr i work on cars and i'm going to tell you right now that the 3.5 is garbage. whenever they come in theres always something little going on. and i've never seen one with more than 140k. the interior is also garbage. there is nothing good about it. the cluster is so boring and the orange glow is fucking annoying. the whole setup for the dash is stupid as fuck. volume adjuster is on the passenger side, the tune and volume "knob" is a button like something from a shitty 50$ head unit.

On street car races and occassional/ often 1/4 mile drag racing, .. a daily driver doing 11.9 is king of the streets (street legal). I had co-club members doing 11.2 1/4 ET of a FWD Pontiac Grand Prix sedan with a single turbo, good intercooler and self tuned, slicks. The G35 coupe definately has more potential, although its High Compression Ratio is its limiting factor, 'till some company makes modded cylinderheads for the G35 coupe. Everybody is running 30+ psi (the fast ones)..

@ironbull2003 just Fyi a Stock stage 0 SRT4 dynos 250-260WHP not crank WHP crank is around 300hp stock so yes a few bolt ons will net you 60-70 more hp to bring you into the 320whp range stock stage 3 factory srt4s come with about 310whp with only bigger injectors bigger turbine housing and a nicer tune from the stage and the car can achieve mid 10 second quarter mile times and around 425whp with out doing any internal engine work even low 11 sec 1/4 times with out replacing the stock turbo

One of the fastest V6 is by ZZP Performance with their 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with a 3.8 lt. V6, twin turbo, twin intercooled, it's a FWD transaxle car, their own tuning..
It did 8.65 @ 158 mph in th 1/4 mile.
Who really needs a low 10 sec. car in the street anyways..
I love my 04 G35 coupe. I had a 97 GP GT w/c I supercharged before the G.

What kind of Tuning you guys used here. Any data scans of the cars on fullthrottle changing gears? Do you buy a re-programmed PCM/Computer tuned already. Any one here does their own tuning using like changing spark advance, fueling, trans. rpm shiftpoints, all the goodies.. Buying a "kit" with a programmed pcm is boring without scanning and tuning; Self Tuning..

353 RWHP (from the tire) is equivalent to 441 Engine (from crankshaft) Horse Power. An 03-06 G35 coupe only has a 3.5 litre, 6 cylinders with high compression ratio. A supercharger steals power from the cranshaft via a pulley, Turbo gets it from waste exhaust. 353 WHP (rear) is darn good!, from a supercharger. ..Watch out for detonation/knock.
A base G35 coupe has around 224 RWHP which is 280 Engine HP, with 270 foot pounds of torque from the crank/engine.
I have an 04 G35 coupe.

Wait, the G35 has a Vortech supercharger and full exhaust and still only pushes 353rwhp? That sounds a bit low. From others who have the kit, I have been told that it increases output to 420rwhp with exhaust and tuning. Have you had the G35 dyno-tuned?

I now have a Mustang GT and spend 1200 on a turbo, thats right $1200 a small ass one too. I am pushing 450/465. So exhaust, intake, 3.73 gearing, turbo + exhuast and i spend 2100...........

ok, not to jump in yall convo, but a SRT4 neon, is a neon, just like a neon sxt, or neon RT, its a neon that street and racing team (SRT) took, and did some modifications to it just so dodge would have something to enter into the EVO, STI dominated scene. now on to what i wanted to say, this is why its pointless to put all that power in a FWD. always playing catch up if you can.
