I wish we had known about them in the United States. They were so famous thoughout the rest of the world, but they were practically unknown in the USA.

I was only introduced to Boney-M one December about 5 years ago, when a local radio station was playing "Mary's Boy Child" as part of it's Christmas playlist. People would call the station asking who Boney-M was, thinking they were some new group. They all loved the song, but no on knew where to find a copy.

A sad loss for the USA....
