@FlashX97 It should. Same era as the 'flashback' scenes in Kenshin. A lot of character designs are probably indebted to Watsuki's. The two Shinsengumi characters have moves very close to Saito's.

@GregarOtenko Actually, the game was recalculating the damage. You see, the video maker may have already done damage to the com, so when you restart a combo, It recovers the health so you can see the real damage. In short, no that attack does not recover health.

Such an AWESOME game! I used to think Samurai Shodown 2 was the best weapon-based fighter until I played this! I think this over-looked gem stands as th unsung pinnacle of SNK's fighting stable! Love the time period setting! Right at the end of Japan's Samurai days as Western influence takes over...Those periods of time fascinate me! Like Red Dead Redemption, we play through the end of an era!

@rang3r34 Yes! I totally agree with you there. Last Blade 2 is an incredible game, and just like Garou, is vastly underrated. Also, I'm fascinated by it's time period as well. Which reminds me... have you seen the movie "Once upon a Time in China"? It also deals with that sort of thing. The Western and Eastern world begin to slowly, but surely, become one in the same. With the introduction of guns, causing Kung Fu to be rendered obsolete. Its fascinating, yes, but its also depressing.

Since our Store manager was Japanese, we'd get all kinds of cool, rare games to play in our employee lounge! I'll need to check out the movie you suggested it sounds interesting!I love End of an Era parts of history! Final Fantasy 6 and 9 dealt with issues like this. It was so surreal in RDR to be riding a horse and watch the first Model-T cars pass by.

So once agian in simple words, in this video Musashi is included as an extra because he was in Last Blade 1 but not in Last Blade 2 on AES/MVS cartridge. If you know a miraculous way of unlocking Musashi in the original release on cartridge format let me know, otherwise shut up.
