I have seen them, and drove them. Love the cars the only complaint I would have about the GT-R is the Paddle Shift. Takes all the fun out of it. If I were to recommend a car in the price range of this I would recommend the Corvette Zr1 it is better in every way. This is still a great car though for the money.

they're much more balanced horizontally though, it also de-complicates the engine bay.

A straight 6 is a LONG ass block, requires sacrifices about space etc. in comparison.

The R35 Gtr uses a beefed up 370z motor 3.7 litre 6.

Both nice cars though.

@Goochak47 no... it doesn't. The GTR's motor is the VR38DETT twin turbo V6, whilst the 370Z uses a VQH37VHR V6.

Both are Nissan V6s, but that is where the similarities end.

@vashthethird you're right on. Getting, for example, an R34 GTR here in the states, you would have to go through customs, DOT paperwork, emissions, etc. A lot of things have to be changed over. A lot of people unibody the shell, classify it as a kit car...

why wouldnt you have it exiting on both sides? now you have a big gay lookin empty hole on the other side. I think it would be cool if somebody made just a regular fuckin bumper for it with no holes for exhaust, then make an exhaust with one muffler exiting at an angle, like a Supra, that would look badass. Then again i'd buy a fuckin Supra before i bought a GTR

the exhaust on a supra is crooked to free up a bend. its for performance not looks. single exhaust is better then dual exhaust on certain applictaions. like this one. dual exhaust is mostly for looks on lower end cars. but on this car and cars like the s2k its ment so then they can run 2 mufflers to make it quiter. im assuming they havent made a bumper that only has one exhaust port yet sence the car is so new.
