Hi! I like ur vids but please tell me how is key touching on PC1X? Is good for piano studying or keys are lighter? I played on K2600X keyboard and im curious if key touch is similar to PC1X. Thanks a lot. Best regards
I haven't played that roland, neither the SP2. The piano samples are the same as the PC1x (as far as I Know). I like them, altought I miss some more dynamics on piano sounds. Also the keyboard action is not 10/10 but 7/10 for my taste.
I've heard Roland has more realistic samples, don't know about the keyb action.
Anyway, I love that Kurzweil, it has a broad palette of sounds.
Good job, sounds good. I think Kurzweil samples are more realistic than Roland, Kurzweil has always gone for that natural sound and feel. I may pick one up eventually.
I own a PC1X. Sold my Roland Fp3 for it. Though the Kurzweil has a nice broad pallette of sounds, the pianos on the Roland were far superior. Much richer and fuller sounding. I miss my FP :(
Very nice sounds and a nice response I see. My inteintion was buying a mid-range Roland (Right now I own a PSR-500- nothing fancy) but after hearing and seeing this I'm sure I'll change my mind. Going on Kurzweil!
Roland Key action may be better than the PC1x, and altought piano samples are really great (triple strike, there are three independent samples for soft-mid-hard key pressing), you could compare both piano samples. Kurzweil Dynamic Grand is one of my favourites.
Thanks! I also forgot to mention that PSR-500 is only five octaves - I can not play many songs i'd like to, so I'm open to suggestions in what instrument to buy. It should have 7 octaves and would be great to have a built-in sampler also (it's not essential, though (will map it via MIDI)) and a price range up about $ 2000. I appreciate your suggestions!
how is the feel of keys?

Al escuchar los sonidos de tu Kurweil PC1x, me acordé del luchador Undertaker, sería bueno que tocaras los temas de él, sobretodo los primeros.

I owned one - An underrated keyboard. Most ppl go for Roland but the PC1X is much better in my opinion.
