  • Baptists are the worst type of organized religion.Telling people they are going to burn in hell isn't exactly the way to get positive feedback. They should have found a better way to demonstrate what they stand for. I grew up in a baptist church and I remember when I was really young they use to make me hold a sign that says "Abortion Is Murder," since then I have had two abortions, oh the irony.

  • Oh my gosh. People like you make me sick. You don't see Marilyn protesting out in front of your Church, now do you?

  • Im in this im so famous :D

  • "Loving god" YEAH RIGHT

  • You cant just leave him alone? You cant just ignore that he doesnt like jesus or your religion? You know that all that was pointless and that jesus wont love you any more for acting like children and getting mad at another person who more people like than yourselves

  • zion baptist church (along with the rest of the churches) are a bunch of mentalists. there's no 2 ways about it.

  • Not all Christians are like this, in fact many are very ok with Manson and Heavy Metal in general. The ones that form these protests and whine and bitch about God at Church are Extremist Christians and Catholics who discriminate all who don't agree with their beliefs just like these morons and all other protesters at Concerts and any other event.

  • @DrivinHanyou: What kind of Christians would be happy to see the Bible being burned on stage? Yes your right, were are Extremist. What's the point of being half hearted. Jesus died & rose again to saved us from hell.

  • Dear Zion Baptist Church: People like you make people who are different feel like shit. So they listen to music by people who understand what it feels like to be discriminated against like you are discriminating against those who are different.

  • @SHandrock1 The protest is against MM not because he is different, but because he mocks & ridicules some one we love. Were not discriminating against anyone who what's to be different or feels different, but we cant stand back & do nothing when Jesus & the Bible is mocked. While you may not agree with what we believe, you cant see why we feel we have to Protest.

  • @ZionBaptistChurch65 Manson has stated he doesn't have anything against Jesus or what he was trying to teach. His problem is when people try to use what Jesus taught to control people. Alot more hatred and pain has been spread in the name of Christ then in the name of rock, or in the name of Manson.

  • @Emelsu1993 what would you do if a musician did nothing but abuse and humiliate the person you love most in the world? Wouldn't you voice your outrage. Thats all these guys are doing, as Manson insults Jesus, who we love most

  • @FuroraCeltica is insulting each other not what the entire rap genre is based on? And seeing as we are all Gods children, hence they are your brother and sister why not defend them? Joking aside, God and Jesus gave man the choice of loving them. So if some choose not to love him, or not love him the same way you do, you have no right to judge anyone. Everyone needs to find God in their own way. You don't care about our salvation, only your own sense of preachy self rightousness. Btw, Manson=shit

  • @drao88 "Everyone needs to find God in their own way" - there is only one way to God, and that is by faith in His Son Jesus

  • @FuroraCeltica If you are a christain of sorts, your only duty is to love Him. As I said, God gave man a choice. If some people choose not to believe, or lose their faith, then that is no-ones business but theirs and Gods. Not yours or anyone elses.

  • @FuroraCeltica oh I forgot, Jesus is all forgiving. Or did you just give the New Testament a miss?

  • Good to see people standing up for God

  • I was at my grandmothers church, laying on the stage waiting for people to show up for a kinda food drive, when the pastor walked up, asked me what I was listneing to on my MP3. I told him Marilyn Manson. He was cool with it, even asked me what song I was listening to.

  • i don't understand why they bothered to waste their time. The gig obviously went on regardless and Marilyn Manson are still making music. Just because there's some controversial lyrics doesn't mean the fans take it literally. I remember there being protesters outside the gig at Braehead a few years ago as well. People were just taking photos with them lol!

  • @nicolad11 Your right the gig still when ahead, but at the end of the day ppl knew who's side we were on. Praise God there is still a voice for God in Scotland.

  • Love me some Manson!! Woohoo!

  • Their parents forced them to protest.

These kids wanted to be at home on the xbox and playstation.

  • Wow these people are annoying

  • Preachers like these guys seem to target concerts in general. One group in

the US even Preached outside a Jonas Brothers concert and the JB are one

of the most squeaky clean acts out today.

  • hahaha christians are so easy to scare. There are millions of things you can do to make those losers protest.

  • YEAHHH MANSON!!!!!!!! METAL 4 EVA!!! |m|

  • it's funny, lol , jajajjaja

  • I may be wrong but could the reason be that manson's concerts still get protests in Glasgow is because back in 2005 there was a scottish guy who killed his girlfriend and for no reason they blamed Manson for it?

  • I can't believe there are still christian protests these days at manson concerts, I thought it started to stop by now, I saw vids on youtube which have even more protests in the U.S. lucky, there weren't any protests when I went to see manson live in 2007 and 2009.

  • @adamchabbi6 seeing crazy protesters are a fun part of going to his concerts lol

  • @tallyhoman911 Thats so true, lol!

  • @Daealis Sicko, Sicko, and why use profane language not all young folk are like you just the Manson Fans who like to pay to see a Sicko

  • @Jungleloyalscouse Thumbs down!

  • Have these people nothing better to do with their time than hang about the streets with placards bearing Biblical quotes? I hate to use a hackneyed phrase but get a life.

  • This Guy is a Sicko and cannot be saved he's to far gone. Just pray for the young folk

they may eventually see through this Sicko and be saved he has a bad tongue and a bad attitude with no respect for anyone other than himself.

  • @Jungleloyalscouse so?

hes a muscian that likes to shock audiences and people and he does a good job cause he sees the hatred he gets by a certain group of people and i think its hilarious

  • Oh man, Manson was AWESOME

As he says, "Take your hatred out on me"

  • Manson Rocks! \m/

  • these guys were protesting at the glasgow gig in december and it was perhaps the most pathetic thing i've ever seen. it really was. i couldn't help but laugh

  • i do like how these guys protested. all other ones people just stood there screaming. this one probably let people think, insted of block.

  • I agree with sunshine... I was at this gig, I like Marilyn Manson even though i believe in God. The last manson gig i went to i felt angry at the protestors, they are the ones preaching hate not marilyn manson. After tuesday night i realise i feel sorry for you. Puttin this on youtube2 spread gods word or 2 produce hatred for a group of people who listen to music? God made us of so many casts, im pretty sure he wouldnt condemn us.

  • jesus gets you thru your day, music gets us thru ours. leave us be. i sincerely don't understand y you dont realise that, through your actions which r offensive to us, u are actually turning us away. most of us have no problem with religion, but i could see the disgust in people's eyes when you seemingly assumed that we were the baddies and you were there to 'save' us. lucky us. if manson has offended u then take it up with HIM. im sure god can handle himself without u givn him such a bad image.

  • i might add i am from a christian family. i once really tried to be christian, but it never worked for me. i remain openminded, like many of the other people outside the o2, who were also offended. we recognise manson's beliefs etc but we do not judge him for them, or necessarily believe the same, to us it makes no difference when we were there to hear the music, strangely enough, rather than to worship satan. how would you feel if we protested outside your church?

  • i went to this concert and i saw you with young children out in the rain. i don't think this is right. what you are doing is offensive - judging people by their taste in music, so naturally some of the crowd reacted negatively. some were even talking about flashing, which although i think is immature, i know you have done this type of thing before so you must expect it. how can you expose your children to this? i thought jesus said don't judge? nm, i know the bible is full of contradictions...

  • Keep up the good work. ! God bless.

  • Does anyone have the video from the protest this church done at the Marilyn Manson gig in Glasgow at the Braehead Arena from around 2001, 2002????? I know it was filmed for a TV doc about Jack Glass.

  • Beside most for are there just to see the show nothing to do with religion.

  • i can't believe a church put this up and i can't believe you guys were even there. Talk about over reacting. You mention you did it because of the so called "actions & lyrics his hatred for God & for Christianity" where in reality he just letting people realise they don't have to be scared of a big pointy finger in the sky. You've got the remember in the that in many countries religion is shoved down your throat. The music is simple a back lash of that.
