I am here for learning! I watch videos from all African countries. if they are on you tube I will watch them. It is my favorite thing to watch. I just learned by watching this video that many ethiopians are just regular looking black people. I am here for learning! I watch videos from all African countries. if they are on you tube I will watch them. It is my favorite thing to watch. I just learned by watching this video that many ethiopians are just regular looking black people. I have seen so many lightskinned ethiopians that I had to check again to make sure that I was watching an Ethiopian video. This is no put down of the people shown on this video. It is also nice to see people who are just regular looking, too!

As an Ethiopian I want to know more about your sufferings. Were these atrocities you make mention of committed on you due to your separatist movement? If so, do you think the derg would have spared any other ethnic group from the same fate if they wished to secede? I should also add that many Ethiopians suffered, but in the end,they did not feel hate for Ethiopia, but hate for the respective leaders. Perhaps the difference here is that you never felt you were Ethiopians and sought your freedom, while we thought you were an integral part of us. kaymeena, i think all nations all beautiful, but it is quite ignorant to suggest that simply because you have more Caucasoid features that you are the most beautiful black people. i thought that mentality only existed in African Americans, but now I see it exists in Africans as well, and it is sad.

ethios don't have "caucasoid" features, we are black and we look black; blacks don't have to have "caucasoid" features to be pretty; i recognize black in general is beautiful therefore i am far from ignorant.

Thanks for showing the green part of Ethiopia....usually foreigners selectively show the poor people and dry area... I am an Ethiopian... now living in USA... there are poor people in USA too who do not have running water and electric light.... I didn't know until I came here... no body talk about that except our poverty.... no matter what you say... we have never been colonized and will never be!!
