  • can u reuse your cometica head gasket if u have arp studs?

  • bunch of half breed mexicans not knowing what a good engine is around here.. why dont u run something like a lsj or lnf engines.. some good american built engines..but no u always go for the cheap stuff.. makes sense tho

  • mira shico, no te tiendo pue!.. learn how to fucking talk proper Spanish or English man, cant understand shit your SAYING

  • nice car man!

  • i had this same problem with my 99 gsx

  • you should have not been sucking each others dick when you put this piece of shit back together

  • ha my car lasted down the street on stock studs stock head gasket on 28psi hahah then blew so upgraded to arp's

  • goodbye BIATCH

  • so that were my doge engine went lol

  • why do every one paint the covers blue and red?

  • huh? no entendur

  • Dude reusing a head gasket.....come on... That's a fail so epic is almost a win!!!

  • les recomiendo que torqueen en sequencia, para evitar futuros problemas,,

    saludos desde colima mexico..

    fabuloso carro!!

  • What result did you expect reusing the old gasket? When you rebuild the motorhead must necessarily use a NEW head-gasket! EVER!

  • @TbrTurbo Metallic or carbonic head gasket for support 25 psi or more.

  • chichando gomas jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja

  • Can a person use non-torque to yield bolts?

Like say, gr 8 bolts from a fastener store, I mean as long as they have a 210 000 psi strength.

Or do the stock bolts have special elastic memory properties?

  • haha idiots you always use new head bolts and with 25psi you use head studs epic fail on your part

  • Hahahaha stupid idiots, you ALWAYS put in new head bolts and a new head gasket when you've unmounted a cylinder head whether it's an ordinary car or a car like this.

  • no you don't because they aren't torqued to yield like the connecting rod bolts. jerk

  • It's you who are the jerk who doesn't know anything. I've been working with engines my whole life and i actually have a college degree in mechanics. It's common sense in engine building and rebuilding that you always put in new bolts when mounting back the head, as well as a new head gasket. Go ask at any workshop and they will tell you the exact same thing.

  • @kimgulle I'm NOT a mechanic and I know that...

  • u could sucessfuly reuse the stock head bolts if its in stock form just go a few pounds over spec.

  • what the fuck are you two thinking? you obviously dont need a car. how about just getting a bicycle and going from there

  • seriously. im going to drive down there and punch u in the taint. reuse the old bolts and headgasket on a DSM??? dumbass

  • Strait out, your a fuckin retard.

  • well live and learn, but stupid is knowing better

    but doing it anyway.

Its kind of like building you motor by just doing

just main and rod bearings and piston rings?

  • are u guys chilean?

  • like? cesnas? bonanzas? lol! well my first bimmer was a 94 325is coupe, got rid of it then got me a E36 M3 1995, yeah pretty old you can say but has 200K and runs low 14s with a few upgrades, bitch want me to go into detail? what makes me a dick? u just probably do tune ups and shit like that if you really work for bmw, i should change my name to 737 Aircraft Technician, that would make me look hardcore. = /

  • a tech for bmw is a pretty sweet gig. especially master tech.

  • oh wow bmw technician lol u changed your display name? at least i don't need to use the code readers like the fucking "technician" at the dealers to tell you what the problem is. i know my bimmer left to right motherfucker. oh yeah and what type of planes does he specialize on? lol BS

  • your motor looks a LOT like mine

  • Time for a rebuld, which is always fun....

Remember to use New head bolts and New head gasket.

Yes, you can run 25psi on STOCK FORGED internals ..

Swap out your 2g bOV with an 1G BOV, I've heard the 1G BOV can handle 30psi

  • Mechanics 101: You should have known the factory 4G63 motors use "Torque-to-Yield" head bolts that stretch lol. And why would you want to re-use a headgasket lol? But damn, if it held for 7 months without blowing, I'd say you got really lucky though lol.

  • right! I can see the bolts maybe but not at 25 psi lol i have a 97 eclipse gs-t and i just snapped my timing belt and im doing a rebuild and i am not cutting ANY corners!

  • mistubiTchi is crap lol...its true!

  • No they have a Hand Grenade name because people do crazy and powerful mods to them! If everyone left them stock they would never break!

  • Mitsubishi is not crap and I have toyota...

  • BMW is only for to cruise like a rich.

  • actually no... parts and diagnosis are expensive..yeah but i do it all my self so its cheap for me. i work on aircraft so cars are a piece of cake to me..

  • bass, by using a comeback like, "I have a BMW" you're only making yourself look like more of a dipshit. Stick to airplanes fuckhead.

  • = 0 thats because i cruise like a rich XD aircraft fucking rule you asswipe!

  • You probably have a 4 door 3 series.

  • nah those are ugly, 325IS coupe, ran low 14s, idk but its kinda runnin crappy now. needs tune time.

  • Come on guys! You can't run 25 psi on the STOCK STUFF lol. You can safe tons of money if you would just go to a DSM forum before you do anything and do some research.

  • ARP head stud crew - checkin' in. 28 PSI with ARP's on a OEM gasket. 35k miles/no trouble.

  • 3 layer metal and arp studs screw the cosmetic head gaskets thats for stock applications, you live and you learn right?

  • That's funny, my stock spyder beat a stock 5.0 mustang. Interesting...

  • @SpydermanGST lol its a mustang give it credit

  • @SpydermanGST hello, didn't you know v8's were slow? lol

  • LOL, anytime anywhere mother fucker. You'll se what a real DSM can do to a stock 5.0. I love foxe's, they are the cheapest domestics to build but dont talk shit about DSM's because there are ones in the low 7's right now bud.

  • -Correction... high 6's (for quite some time now; 3-4 years?).

  • i made the same mistake. im waiting on my head to come back from the shop. ha oh well

  • ...you're a DSMer...and you DIDN'T know you shouldn't reuse the headbolts let alone the headgasket...that's not advanced engine building knowledge...that's simplistic mechanics dude, c'mon!...lol nice build though besides that.

  • how much boost were u runing?

  • 20 psi on a 16g.......

  • @eagle4g63t and you thought you could re-use the gasket and bolts? christ...

  • haha, cuban dsmrs are funny.

  • chupame bien la verga! I'm argentinian & proud biach!

  • lol, mah bad. I guess there are some similarities between the two. And no, I'm not sucking any argentinian dick. kbai.

  • JAJAJAJA gringo chupa Verga!!!!

  • probably need tty bolts if its an alloy head/block--you cant re-use the old ones they are stretched

  • should've used ARP head studs.

  • I know, now it is a dream!

  • fuckin lil wyte dawg thats wassup!
