  • I put our Haleakala video on LiveVideo.

    It was over 1/2 hour.

    No one watched it.

  • I watched most of it, but I admit that I skipped around just a bit.

  • Even Cara got bored...

  • Wow, those some really spectacular scenes Ken!

  • those ARE... oops

  • interesting stuff..gr8 vid!

  • Breath-taking! Never have been to Maui. Only Oahu when I was a member of the crew of a fast attack submarine, the USS Chicago ssn-721. I'd love to go to Hawaii on a vacation and not because I'm there working. Probably a different experience. Nice video.

  • You were attacking Oahu? Well that doesn't make any sense. But, yeah, I'm sure visiting one of the quieter islands on a snorkeling and drinking (AM and PM) expedition is a much different experience than living on base (or ship) on the most urbanized island.

  • Amazing scenery.

  • Wow, very cool.

  • extremely interesting. thanks.

  • Looks a bit like Mars!

  • Definitely. Turns out that they do astronaut training down in there. (Or, if you're conspiracy minded, they shot the fake moon landings there).

  • Must have been an absolutley amazing view to see in person.

  • Even better than the Columbia Gorge, although I did think of Columbia while we were in Iao.

  • Thanks for another great video, Ken!

  • The shot at 3:05 almost looks like a painting - just gorgeous!

  • That's what it's like in person, too. We were standing up there saying, "It's just a matte they added in post." Well, I was saying that. Everybody else just told me to shut up and take more pictures.

  • cool!

  • LOL guess I asked before I looked

  • How beautiful, someday I'm going

  • This seems to be such a magic and wonderfull place. It seems so amazing even though I can only see it through your camera and my sceen.

Your camera realy has a great quality, but the shots where even more fantastic

  • Thank you! I'm getting used to the new camera. It's actually better than it comes across on 'Tube. I've still got to figure out the best export options for converting to online video.

  • So interesting. Fascinating, really, to consider the things that were done so long ago. I like hearing the guide talk while you video; almost like being there.

  • Thanks - I struggled with whether or not to cut her out and just do music. But then I figured, if she annoys people they can always turn down the volume. Glad it worked for you.

  • Good call, Ken. I think music would have made the stark visuals seem boring.

  • nice views

  • awesome ! thank you :)

  • first, good video kenrg
