Dalmations find good homes easily. When's the last time you went to the shelter and found Dalmation PUPPIES. They sell for a thousand bucks a pop; if the breeder was really in trouble, they could sell them for 200 a pop to petland. Nice try, though. These aren't mongrels, otherwise your comments would be relevant.
@itsmegp46 is that so Back yard breeders can kill a breeds with bad breeding practice without health testing? Good responisb;e breeders pay out thousands to ensure the highest quilty puppies are born to ensure that breed continues to be a health breed and to try and solve the health issues that are out htere. it is back yard breeders that dont care aboutthe animals and irrisponible people that dont do health checks whos pups end up in kennels and rescues becasue they have issues.
cont.... Also with the dalmatian thanks to the film people think they are great pers. which they are but dont realise just how much work they take so the shove them into rescues or pass them on. Research a breed and also only buy from good breeders!
@engrose All of this is irrelevant. My comments were made to inform people that there are millions of unwanted dogs and cats living in kill shelters, roaming the streets, etc. When the average person lets his pet breed, he or she will either give the puppies away or sell them for a nominal fee. He won't know who this person is because no prescreening is done. Anyone can visit their local animal shelter and adopt a dog, cat, puppy or kitten.
We just lost our 15 year old Dalmatian named Freckles. She was a big part of the family. We loved her so much and miss her terribly. She left us with a void that can never be replaced. We buried her on the family property and we will get her a headstone.
We have a Dalmatian named Stranger. He's 13 1/2 years old. He's not doing well though. He just became epileptic and has advanced arthritis. I got him when he was an year and half old. Someone abandoned him in Central Park and the family that found him gave him to us. I would have loved to see him as a baby like these puppies. Thanks for sharing this video.
soooooo cute
