Thats cool. Here in Fl, we have a Master, then Amber and Red is on a 3 position rocker type switch. You manually have to flip down to red. If the door is opened with the master on, you get an audible tone and just reds, but no stop arms or crossing gate.
@09ThomasEF, no, thats pin 1. That would be an additional switch. As long as the unit has a ground, if you send hot power to pin one, that enables the override.
Does that same Systematic design (press the amber start when door open and reds automatically turn on) work on your 90 Bluebird or is it completely different
@Stetsonater- It works the same. It uses a flasher unit that uses relays, so it isn't fully electronic like this unit. It is manufactured by RAC, and also has the option for either sequential or non-sequential. The first flasher unit I put in was made by ELS, and was non-sequential only.
My district must use the non sequential then... because the bus drivers are old and forget to do the ambers sometimes... and when they open the door the reds come on.
@SuperFordguy123- I took them off, along with most of the reflective tape preparing it for paint. I will post some more when I get back home next month.

Does this bus have a red override, so you can have the reds on with the door closed?

Nice video, man.
Were weird, lol. Some are sequential and others aren't. I don't mind either; but I like the non sequential ones better.
