@tania199417 I've been with my boyfriend now for 4 years, it's a long distance relationship, my mom will never accept him no matter what he does, he also asked me to marry him and i said yes, because of the law in my country we can't get married legally (yet) because of citizenship and stuff, so we decided to have a ring exchange when he gets here. My advice is be with your true love. In the end of the day he's the only one who will go thru anything with you (at least that's how it is with me)

truth. people think LDR are bullshit, but I find that you get to know someone the best through them - since its not a physical based relationship. I've been with my bf for 5 months now and we live across the ocean from eachother. But we make it work. I think the most important thing i've learned is to have dates for the next time you'll see eachother. Even if it's months away, if you have that date you know it will happen and it's not a 'what if'. Helps sooo much,
Made it to exactly one year. It had gotten to arguments all the time, but I have major love for her. It's just I knew that it wasn't going to get better... So instead of putting myself through that emotional rollercoaster, I said we needed to just stop... I felt bad, but we both benefitted in the long run.
