Gilgamesh is awesome! I just wish that he would use Zantetsuken more. Sometimes, when he's summoned he has a tendency to use either Excalibur or Excalipoor. which ultimately sucks....<<;

I wish they made it so that he would get an imediate kill all the time too but I suppose that would defeat the concept of him carrying multiple swords.

no when he apears and the swords revolve around him. just push the d-pad left or right. im serious. everytime i always get Zantetsuken if i dont press the d-pad. but everytime i do it picks Excaliber or Masamune. yea even Excalipoor. which only does 1 damage

beat seifer at the end of disc 3

you have to get the summon odin and fight seifer with him and when the battle starts odin will come out but will die and seifer said something odin then odin sword rips open a different dimension and gilgamesh grabs odins sword later on the battle gilgamesh will come out in a few turns and own seifers ass lol

umm that was zantetsuken he used the sword of Odin but i agree Zanmato is better than Zantetsuken go Yojimbo XD

The only thing I didn't like about Gilgamesh is how randomized the attacks were.

1. Like Odin, he only showed up by chance.

2. The attack he performed was also based on chance.

Two factors based on chance got kind of annoying.

Regardless, he looks amazingly cool.

Technically it wasn't Odin's fight to begin with as he doesn't involve himself with boss fights. You are trying to rationalize the intentions of a polydimensional being, QUIT IT! ;)

if no ones going to answer I will, you need a pocket station (which where not released in the UK im not sure about the US though) and you need to aquire a friendship item in the chocobo minigame, then use that item in battle during a fight in the main game and the attack is called "moomba moomba moomba" if memory serves

I think it's called zateuken. It was Odin's sword.

Gilgamesh can appear at any point (even the beginning) during every battle you encounter (including boss fights.) After the 4 swords drop from the sky and land, the sword facing the enemy will ALWAYS be the one he choose to use.

Gilgamesh only appears after the battle with Seifer on the Lunatic Pandora, and only if you have Odin before that battle.
