i'm a gymnast, so i've got amazing balance. and believe it or not, if a flyer balances, it screws up the whole stunt. you need to let the bases balance you. flyers just stay tight. that was my problem when i started...i liked to balance myself.
i know this is an old comment on cheer techniques.. but i completely agree exactly i tried balancing myself as a flyer....i am a Gymnast level 7 silver and competitive cheer so i try balance myself and am just naturally the best flyer on my team... ha my coach said that to my coach... because she used to coach at my gymnastics gym... and so its just funny ppl dont understand
Yes i can do a heelstrech, and i was just saying they are not suppose to be a 90 degree angle, you can tell she is a base not a flyer and that is okay, she seems to know what she is talking about more when it comes to basing.

Lol....toooo funny. I was a flyer and I can tell you these "excercises" aren't too much of a help.
I learned stunts my first day. Extensions, basket-toss...etc.
Practice balancing??? Uhhh...if you can't balance, sorry sweetie, I don't think you should stunt.
