Found this ages ago, late on ABC and took ages to find where it was from, and thought it was always a better version than the original. For ages, didn't realise it was on Kenny 's show. Again Everett's coolness excels just his comic brilliance.

I believe that's only on the Rykodisc verision, which has been out of print since Bowie moved his releases to Virgin. However, a Space Oddity maxi-single was recently released on iTunes and it features this version...yeay!

Unfortunately, the only commercially available DVDs are compilations of parts of The Kenny Everett Video Shows. The clips on my channel are not available on DVD.

I remember ole Keny Everit. His program was run on late night sindicated tv back in the late 70's & early 80's and was one of the earliest and more entertaining and creative forums for music video, years before the whole mv explosion ( MTV, Friday Night Videos, VH1 and all that ) Everet was a real inovator and pionere in his own right, and was much more brilliant and amusing than all those bland stupid MTV and VH1 "vj's" who eventualy came along.
