I have been a fan of this video for quite some time and I never get ill of it - I think because it is done so eloquently but so simple - I have and always will love this cover version - thanks
you do that song better than the man that wrote it . way better keep jamming. I Liston to you regularly love it .I play it myself just cant make it sound as good.
Ok, I've been looking for years on how to actually play this song. YEARS. Are there any tabs for this song? Or atleast tell me what kind of fingerpicking pattern it is, that'd atleast put me off on the right foot in trying to figure it out. It's been driving me INSANE, and I absolutely love the song. Help someone?
hey reid - watch out heating your rooms from your stove - that's a ticket to monoxide poisoning (you have to crack a window or something). your tbosj is a "thing of great beauty and a pleasure to behold..."
Incredible. I really became familiar with this song through Jimmy Buffett, and it's a favorite of mine, but found out today about Willis Alan Ramsey. I saw a few of his recordings on youtube and plan on buying his album ( on CD) from Amazon. Incredible music. Anyways, I can not find a TAB for Willis Alan Ramsey's version anywhere. Do you know where I can find it or if there is a book I can buy of his sheet music?
Very good! I really like the tone of your voice. I play the guitar myself and many of the songs you've chosen to do are new to me and I'm gonna learn them too (but I don't do vids). Greetings from Scandinavia, music is universal. Thanks for the goosebumps.
I just posted up my version of this great song. Obviously I heard the lyrics differently than you, (I believe you actually have them right!). Great job, love Willis too.
Started to sound good when you sang Motor bank stool-pidgeon. The beginning was this overemotional stupid young kid edge. Remember it's a Texas accent, not Maroon Five.
Nice job. Does anyone have a video of Willis Alan Ramsey performing Goodbye Old Missoula, Painted Lady, Boy From Oklahoma, Angel Eyes, or Northeast Texas Women?
burned out the stove doing that! oh well, like the new one better - nice cover by the way~

Nice rendition with soothing vocals. You found a way to sing Ramseys' ballad to suit 'your style'.
*does having the oven door open create an acoustically more sound environment? (just kidding ;~) very nicely done.

This is really great! I bought the album back in
1975 when I was living in New Orleans. I don't
know where it is now.Why didn't this guy ever
make any more albums? He was really great.
Your rendition probably sounds better than the
original. Good work!
