I figured something really awesome u can use blitzball for.

0. On Tidus, follow the path on the grid which leads to "Guard" Ability.

1. Immediately after Luca storyline, recruit Jumal (Very good goalkeeper)

2. After you meet Rin at his travel agency, recruit the Al bhed dude ( Very good mid fielder)

3. Play blitzball to win 1 teleport sphere and 1 return sphere.

4. After the failed sin attack at mushroom rock you get a sword for tidus which has 3 free customize slots.

At the end up, I spent so much time on blitzball that all i had to do was shoot from the halfway mark, that was it. Instant goal. They kickoff, I tackle at centre, shoot, goal.

I ended up winning matches around 27-0. I just stopped playing Blitzball at that point.

I love how cheap some of these shots are, I mean even some of the more simple ones like nap shot. If the shot misses then the goalie will get hit in the chest with the ball and fall asleep until you score. Or the venom moves, getting hit and coming down with an illness....WHILE UNDER WATER.

@KevaPBs ok what you need to do is get all of tidus's key moves or techs. do that by playing regular mathches not leauges or tounments. then once you have all of his key techs you can earn the jecht shot 2 by completing a tournament. hope this helps its the best move to.

all you need is brother the pilot and stick him as mid field, he has exceptional everything and is so fast no one can catch him, match starts he has ball he could get a goal from just beyond the half way line so i do that, when i score their mid gets the ball as brother annihilates him with a special tackle he thentakes a shot for the goal,

remember the clocks only active while holding the ball or making a shot/pass not during tackles

I'm in the Calm Lands, is playing Blitzball a good idea (Havent done anything since Luca, which i won) right now? No interest in Wakka's overdrives, but i really want to get more into Blitzball, i hated the Luca game (the player is suppose to lose anyway) so it pushed me away from it quite a bit, any training tips (Not character training, just training me in playing the game)?

@BlueEye096 Playing Blitzball is a must at/after the Calm Lands. Because you have to get all of Wakka's Overdrives and have him participate in 450 fiend encounters before the Jupiter Sigil will appear as a prize in a blitzball tournament. And you need that in order to get Wakka's maxed-out Celestial weapon.

PS. Wakka's Attack Reels is the best non-aeon overdrive in the game, 12 physical hits for full attack damage. I'll send a private message with a little "in-depth" guide.

@Twilightheart1000 The character has to a) know the move (nap shot, venom shot, sphere shot, w/e) b) have the move EQUIPPED (in the screen before you set the team marks) and c) have enough HP to USE the move. If these three requirements are met then the specialty shot will appear as an option when you select, "Shoot".

nvm got both of them:) they don't seem too good though...at highest level wakka has 82 shot and cap is 99 so his is useless and jechtshot 2 hits 3 people and turns invisible, theres no point for both you just need 1 or the other, but now tiddus and wakka hav both scored the whole length of the pool:)

well if you beat the luca goers in the first bitzball game, you should be able to play as soon as you get to the save point at the beginning of the Mi'Hen Highroad. but. eventually, you won't be able to play until you acquire the airship. but with the airship, you'll have to wait until you've rescured Yuna. THEN you can play as much as you want after you get the hymn of the fayth and get back to the ship. :)

Invisible shot: Steal. I stole it for Argai Ronso lvl 22 +- (push 'X' at the moment that he throw the ball)

Ject Shot II: You need have the three Key Abilities learned with Tidus, and at least lvl 16. At lvl 16 you have a 16% chance of learn it, at lvl 17-17%, 18-18% etc etc....

Auroch Spirit is learned from a random prize in the Blitzball Tournament game. Wakka may equip this once he's learned all three of his Key Abilities (like tidus in Ject Shot II)

ok... Invisible shot, you have to wait until the opposing team uses it. when one of them uses it and the "techcopy" appears on the screen, wait RIGHT before the shooter releases the ball to copy it. then you should copy it successfully. :)

Okay, tho answer the popular question: Jecht Shot 2 can only be learned by Titus, and only if he has ALL of his key techs. Then, you must win the Jecht Shot 2 in a tournament. If Tidus has ALL 3 KEY TECHS, he'll learn it.
