Why is every one calling them alpha lolz it was ATTACK at the the time haha that place sucked dick for everyone and if your looking it up you know it personally oneway or another
"Thank you, Mike Tucker, for having the balls to roll with us for a year in Afghanistan and write this great book." Staff SGT Charlie Reynolds. Roger that. I was right on the other side of that mortar, luckily kneeling behind a low wall of sand bags. And thank God we survived the action with the SEALS on 5 August 2009. archskyINF, you are a liar. I have no clue as to who you are. The book is accurate. As Scout PLT, TF Chosin MSGT Michael Pore said, "Well-done." Semper Fi, Mike Tucker
My brother and his buddies took a morter within 5 yards (In mud and water) and it messed some stuff up on some guys. He said for the most part that he knows it's decently accurate. His purple heart is burried under a pile of boxes he brought back from Ft. Drum. I've seen videos of that place, little white Taliban dots, then big explosion and no more Taliban. All I'm saying is, whether the book is all true or not, I respect the hell out of anyone that fought at Barge E Matal!
we lost coleman and miller in that hell hole and we were the ones to replace alpha in the beginning. ive read this book and i spoke to the author believe me when i say this book is garbage even the quoted people say they didnt say the things that a written cause they are lies
my brother was a teamleader there, and a GHOST sniper. I have to say I respect all the men that fought at Barge E Matal. My respect goes out to my brother the one that led GHOST1, Task Force Chosin, the SEALS and everyone who fought there to beat those damn Taliban bastards.

I remember that place everyday. I replaced alpha who were first in there. Many close calls.
