hburg is right about 0:18, sort of about the 26 through 30, (you bounce a little, that part's tricky) saving at 38 is actually what i do as well to get around that corner. saving boost at that part, i believe, is better than wasting boost with a slam. your two biggest problems are one, COOL DOWN IN THE WATER AT 1:52 AND DON'T MAX BOOST BEFORE IT! lol. and then the other one is a simple fix. Go left at the beginning, not right. you won't do a hop, you'll just fly through there.
Thanks dawg, good tips. I've improved a little since this video - I can get 2:29's once in a while. As for the start, in a race I'll just pick whatever seems safest based on where I am. 2nd lap I find it better to take the left route in case of debris.
Thanks for the help hburg. I saved at 0:18 because I was just a a bit off the line and almost missed (you can hear me go OOP!) I find the boosting pattern difficult here because I never manage to go the exact same line twice :) I see in the rig videos they do a lot of max-slam-boosting, I tend to play a bit more conservative boosting, though I might have to learn this technique if I want to keep up.

Hmm but you did it well. I think ur just loosing to much speed by saving boost at 0:18, 0:26-0:30, 0:38. I made two Kanaloa Videos too.
