Not so much math as counting on your fingers. If you want the most efficient way, use binary. You can count to 31 on one hand, and 1023 on two hands.

what is binary, and how do you do it??
@lebiya2010 Binary is the base two number system (decimal is base 10). Check Wikipedia. Each finger is up or down - 0 or 1.

wow...i've NEVER seen this form of counting before. i'm used to the japanese way. this is really cool tho.
