i had a srt and it was great. myopinion would be to get the srt4. i also drove the masdaspeed3 and it didnt perform any better than the srt4.the only reason i sold my srt is because i got an srt8.

The MS3 will out run it in the corners, the SRT4 will kill it in the straight line performance.

They are, its just easier to get the power out of the SRT4 and the TQ is much higher stock for stock when compairing the two cars.

What do you think of the open deck design?

Love it, now that we have a deck plate and sleeves for the motor we are going to be able to "push" this motor to its limits. Rods and pistons will support 1000 + HP.

if u make a turn with this car fast and the traction control is off will both tires spin or with just 1 spin because of the brake lock differential or somethin?

Just one if you are in a turn, if you are on reasonably flat ground you will get both tires to spin.

We have a Speed 3 also, expect several videos to get posted up on this car as well, just working the bugs out of the fueling and we should be good to go with 325 + WHP from the Speed 3 here very soon.

OK so I am in the market for one of these 2 vehicles VERY soon (CSRT or Mazdaspeed). Which one would you Advise and y?

only realy problem with the CSRT-4 is the amount of power that is limited in 1st and 2nd gear from the factory. with the MS3 you have to shift several hundred RPMs before redline because the turbo's power falls off after 5200 RPMs or something like that, and redline is closer to 6000. drive them both, see which one fits you better.

I actually ended up getting the new Cobalt SS turbocharged because I got an unbelievable deal...go figure..

Easy to correct, if you don't mind pulling it off factory boost control.

The Caliber is way more robust, the MS3 is refined.

EXPENSIVE, those tires are pricey :D Nice burnouts though. So I hear you ordered the new stage 1 mopar package for the cSRT4, keep us up to date on that.

Yes we did and I will. I have a to check a few things out on them but when we have the "offical" parts in hand we will be hard at work trying to get that 400 WHP on the stock turbo.
