this song totally got me into him. I started with Lecrae, and I haven't given up on him but on a lyrical stance Shai is doing things that are just bananas....all in Jesus name! The 116 Clicque and the Lampmode roster totally dwarf the words of their secular contemporaries. Sand the make you look at even some of the legends. KRS-ONE is my favorite before becoming a Christian, but i think Shai got him. Why? Because of his message, which is God's message.

the 13 letters are a reference to Paul's 13letters in the New Testament. Paul authored Romans-Philemon in the New Testament and these are arranged from longest to shortest. does that help?

yeah, Shai says sola Deo gloria a lot in his songs...its his motto,as well as mine, that describes that all things he does is for GOD's glory alone. he is known in some circles as the sola Deo gloria fellow. i would say that in the context of the song, and the the albulm it self, that the 13 letters is talking about the 13 letters of Paul. each song goes through a Pauline letter. grace and peace =]
