  • nice back exercise there brah

  • beast effort mate

  • what the fuck...

  • He rows what I deadlift lmao

  • Nice :)

But if i had your warm clothes on, i would sweat more than i train :P

  • fuckin monster

  • Damn, that's my max deadlift right now....

  • the weight is amazing, but form could be better.

    still a beast though

  • You are a monster! Good job!

  • Fuck those who critique his form. When u do any sort of rowing exercise, ESPECIALLY with a monstrous weight, its unattainable to not incorporate any moment of "swinging" or "jerking".

Unless that is, ur a bodybuilding aesthetic faggot who even cares how he looks like when/while lifting a load..

  • Good form , heavy weights for a damn big guy :D

    keep it up

  • looks like romanian deadlifts lol. The first 2 reps were good and gotta hand it to his hand grip , didnt give out.

  • why do that??

  • nice trap workout..

  • @BennekeVN make a video and show us the way u do it, u fat fuck!

  • @superman1987kk i'm just writin down what i'm looking at , this would be the equilavent of cheat curls...

I'd rather use a lighter weight and use good form , to minimize the risk of cheating and injuring yourself...

  • @BennekeVN Actually, being as rigid as you would like him to be is actually more dangerous than what he was doing. He was barley moving....these are good rows...deal with it

  • @syphe101 He should bent more (imo) and actually slowly pull the weight up and be in control of the weight , not just trying to pull/shrug it up which he is doing right now , thrust me , he has my respect by even holding the 405 lbs bar... but he'd get alot more if he was actually proper form for the exercise he's trying to show us.

  • @BennekeVN I dont agree and for a simple reason:Dorian Yates. He has given ample seminars that being to bent over activates the rhomboids and tres areas of the back a little too much. The goal here is the Lower Lat, and that gets worked on a 35 to 45 degree angle. The rigid statement I said I stand by, the biggest and most muscular people in the world ALL DO NOT stay rigid as most youtubers would like. I personally would follow Yates instead of any person on here. :) Agree?

  • @BennekeVN One other thing, there is a video on you tube where Kai Green is being coached by Dorian Yates on how to do proper bent over rows....he ends up looking very similar to this guy in the end. FYI

  • @BennekeVN Only critique I would have: for him to pull the elbows back more.....and straighten up 5 degrees. :)

  • wow

  • It is not easy. This process is a bit tired

  • I was ready to criticise your form when I saw the weight. In my opinion strict pendley rows are the only rows and that's just not a weight anyone needs to row. But I've got to say that was impressive, shows a great deal of power and strength, natural or not. Does your lower back ache?

  • damn thats my deadlift max...nice to be humbled sometimes

  • do you have on a belt?

  • monster! i can't even deadlift that yet, lol. do you do any of the olympic lifts?

  • That form was fine, and I talk shit about most form. He barely used momentum, it was definitely passable.

  • my lower arms can't even handle that weight, let alone lifting it up xD

  • shitty.

  • I wish I had a teacher like this to work out with. Motivating people inside and out of the classroom. Awesome!

  • OMG THATS AWSOME

  • I will do 315 with no jerking, but still good job that was lot of wait!!

  • damn bro, you're a beast. good stuff

  • fucking tank

  • i was happy i deadlifted that for 11 the other day lol!!!! excuse me im going to head to the gym now.

  • holy shit

  • just watching that made my back hurt...

  • Strict form is dangerous with heavy weights?! WTF?!

  • @AlexTheGroovy try to do 315 and above with strict form, and tell me how you are gonna when you are doing them...

  • @skata123456789456123 If you can't do it with strict form, the weight is too high. Unless you are cheating on purpose.

  • @AlexTheGroovy again, have you tried doing bent over rows with 315 for strict reps?

  • @skata123456789456123 No, but of course it is possible to do it with strict form if you are strong enough! The guy in this video would easily do 315 for reps with strict form, and no, that would not be dangerous.

  • gruwelijk sterk!!

  • nice half deadlifts

  • @TaylorReese04 HAHAHAHAHAH he is not doing deadlifts!!!!!!! He's doing BENT OVER ROW!!!

Good job at humiliating yourself faggot LOL!!!

  • @BigSamFoSho ha ha ha never said he was doing deadlifts u weak ass bitch. tell ya momma dat her pussy aint shit

  • @TaylorReese04 "nice half deadlifts" thats what you said kid and anybody here can read your comment, enjoy your SECOND HUMILIATION LOLLLL!!

  • @BigSamFoSho right half deadlifts that dont mean deadlifts u must be retarded. this dude says he doing bent over rows but he's not. they look more like half deadlifts. u must be real slow in the head thats fo sho!

  • @TaylorReese04 dont try to find an excuse for you not reading the title properly, you know NOTHING of weight lifting and you should seriously shut up because up to know, you made yourself the biggest fool one has ever seen,

    way to go jackass!

  • @BigSamFoSho yep u are retarded u must have quit school in like the second grade. and your momma must have slept with her brother thats how you got here. as far as weightlifing you wouldnt wanna see me in the gym u weak ass bitch go suck a cock u fatass

  • @TaylorReese04 hahahaha you are so mad that's fucking hilarious!! Are you on your period baby!?!?!?!?

  • @BigSamFoSho HUH

  • damn thats impressive.

  • holy crap your amazing dude your strong. I bet all the negative comments your getting from people are because they cant even do a rep of this. How many pull-ups can you do because of your strong latts.

  • is straps essential for these heavier weights, i see alot of videos utilising them. Why not just use weight gloves that give added wrist support or are straps better in your opinion?

  • @TheHazcam by the way that's incredible!

  • @TheHazcam straps dont just give wrist support, they take alot of the stress off the hands because even though your back can handle the weight, your grip cant and that's where straps come in to support your grip and not drop the weight on the floor or worse, yourself. So is it essential, depends on who you are but they definitely help move more weight. Hope this helps

  • @TheHazcam straps dont just really give wrist support, they take alot of the stress off the hands because even though your back can handle the weight, your grip cant and that's where straps come in to support your grip and not drop the weight on the floor or worse, yourself. So is it essential, depends on who you are but they definitely help move more weight. Hope this helps

  • rawmomentum

  • very very very impressive sir! thats better than most people trying to row 135.

  • amazing stuff. Form was absolutely perfect imo. Strict form isn't always the best form.

  • i dont even think i can squat that much! nice work man.

  • haha, lmao, elementary school teacher? you would scare the hell outta me and I'm 20 and in shape...Impressive lift though, sadly thats my deadlift right there, minues about 3 reps :(

  • too much legs! still impressive lifting but personally i would reccomend cleaning up the technique to be less explosive, unless ofcourse that is what u want

  • @13andincrediblycut your a fuckin bullshit liar lol!!!!

  • you think ur tough shit doing 405lb X10.....try 10lbs X405 lol

  • Incredible. Good job man that's serious weight and good form well done! keep it up.

  • Pretty sure I heard the plates crying.

  • im 13 and i can do that as well no joke

  • Finish strong!!! Props on not loosing grip on that much weight! Very nice!

  • WOW....i got MAD respect for you thats nuts right there and PERFECT FORM too...geeze, i can only deadlift 405 for 3 reps hahhaha but i just started lifting and this motivates me to do better..thanks for being beast..now i know wat i gotta be!!! aloha from hawaii

  • fuck yeah :D POWRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! (you strong, very nice)

  • add weight, too easy.. good form, great set

  • i think i could lift that if i cheated a little, by 'cheated' i mean using a damn fork lift truck!

    good work mate

  • Awesome video you are ridiculously strong

  • <==== Officially Impressed ! RESPECT !! Nice Job!

  • subscribed.

  • Holy shit. I tried 315 after seeing this and did 5, couldn't imagine this much. CRED

  • Big dude, Big weights.

  • the most beast elementary school teacher I have seen in my life!! haha

  • haha no wraps!

  • @blarg159753 , he does have wraps

  • Nice strength. Do you ever do them off the floor?

  • crazy weight!!!!

  • that my deadlift weight

  • Dude ur a beast hahahaa

  • strong dude.....POWERLIFTERRRRRRR.....5/5

  • wendler would assume you're doing 5/3/1, tate would scowl (or cough/hack/grunt), & matt would make you an instant citizen of rhodestown. fucking impressive.

  • Hell ya!!! NOTHING TO IT BUT TO DO IT!! Thats how its done. Strong grip too

  • when in my cruising stage i do heavy rows this way, like bringing yourself down to meet the weight at the contraction. i tried doing them with "proper" form but i felt my back wasnt as dense

  • try some fucking deadlifts dude. Then try rows with that much weight. S.W.G.A.F.

  • Those were some nice rows, and the form was fine for what you were trying to accomplish. Thanks for posting.

People on here talking crap don't understand that not everything has to be strict every time--there is good momentum and bad momentum, this is good momentum.

  • good way to tear ligaments. disaster waiting to happen.

  • beaster

  • not trying to hate or anything..but aren't you supposed to keep your elbows tucked in pointing back, and not pointing to the sides (rear delt movement)

  • uhhhhh youre rowing my deadlift weight... o.0 no, like, 50 pounds more than my deadlift weight...

  • your form has to waver a bit if you want to get stronger

  • @gmanthebeast1

    thats not even true...

  • thats why your still rowing 95 pounds:)

  • @gmanthebeast1

sorry bud, im rowing 200x8 @ 160lbs, thanks to proper technique

  • post it then puss

  • Comment removed

  • Uh DAMN!

  • Also he strikes me as more if a powerlifter than bodybuilder... And trust me there is a difference.

  • i have a much cleaner 405x10 up now as well. and yes...i'm a competitve powerlifter. i do bent over rows to help me row the bar down when i bench.

  • @rawelite can you please explain to me why u would need help rowing the bar down when u bench when u have fucking gravity doing it for you?

  • @rawelite can u do it without jerking each rep ?

  • @rawelite could you please tell me when to do these ? on same day with bench, or combined with deadlifts ?

  • He was bent over rowing 405lbs I say that was pretty damn good form especially with that amount of weight. For all the critics saying his form was bad or he cheated, could you guys even do that while cheating? I mean your opinion is just that and I can't knock you for it, but once you make it to that kind of weight you'll understand. Good job man!!!

  • thanks hoss!!! they serve the purpose i do them for.

  • i'm getting into powerlifting myself now. can you offer any tips? as of now i can deadlift and squat fully 545lbs at which neither are my max and bench 405lbs. and i weigh 210

  • @mychalsean haha thank u. loved ur comment. soooo many people shit on form. i doubt alot of em couldnt even deadlift 405. theres a vid with a guy pushing 515 for 3reps on incline!!! and ppl had the nerve to say he didnt break touch his chest. thats 515! haha.fuck outta here!!

  • immense strength, i carnt wait until i can bench that weight, let alone row it, what do you bench press ??

  • @headbangers67 benching that weight will take a while.. most people plateau hard around 315-350

  • nice 1 mate gave u 5.0 ratings.

  • I can't even pick that much weight up. You are a beast dude. Hope you are a cop or a wrestler or something cool in life.

  • thanks hoss.

i have the coolest job in the world. i'm an elementary school teacher.

  • An elementary School teacher, You show this video to your students no one will ever talk back to you, Your a Beast Nice Work

  • @rawelite

and you eat children too...Now we all know where then all went ...lol good job j/k

  • @rawelite haha. you must be eating the children. lol, kiddin. you probably carry the entire class around at recess.

  • @rawelite haha mad as

  • @rawelite shit i wish u were my teacher

  • @rawelite Badass. I just got my row to 285lb after fixing some weak ass internal rotation. I'm 15 and my first meet in in Feb.

    SQ:495lb

    BP:315lb

    DL:550lb

    16 in June.

  • @karite36 show video or your bullshitting.

  • @alexthem123 Wow, don't you have one hell of a yeast infection. I have nothing right now but a video of me deadlifting 495x3 on my page, that should suffice for now.

  • @rawelite

good on you man .. you are bloody building army of strong men/women .. teaching young kids powerlifting stuff ..!! but man you r strong as hell!! Respect

  • very impressive

  • i thought that the 'jerky' movements are him flexing his back muscles? Then that is not cheating. How do u guys do rows anyways? I myself flex at the top of the movement, thus, the jerky movements at the top

  • One things for sure, everyone on youtube has got an opinion. Good job man, keep lifting heavy!

  • Let's see your bent over row video then.

  • im too shy xD and dont you agree ? hes using not only the back.. this is the proper way watch?v=_nV5AL1FvBI&feature=fvst

  • Yea thats alot of weight but i can assure you that your not getting a full contraction in your back.

  • @skaz21

kroasana is right that wasn't a bent over row that was stupid and dangerous for his back like you need to contract the muscles and hold at the top of each rep for a second form and giving about 3 seconds for each rep is better then knocking out 10 reps fast.

  • you fool this is not cheating, it is impossible to use proper form while using such heave weight.

  • He should be using a weight that allows him to exercise proper form then

  • @sumoakira

    Well said

  • heavy*

  • controlled cheating is necessary for overload. Strict form is dangerous with heavy weights.

  • @TheEquityPirate Exactly. Watch a video of any bodybuilder or powerlifter - they use controlled momentum all the time, especially with back exercises.

  • You're a pussy!

  • awesome!!!i can only lift 207 pounds for 5 reps but i will work my way to where you are..good motivational video

  • sick grip

  • fucking beast man

    my stats

    deadlift- 350

    bench 240

    squat 430

  • thats awesome...i wish i could do 2 plates right now!!5*

  • this is pretty cool. I prefer to do a little less weight (even though I do nowhere near 400lbs.) and not jerk the weight because the momentum helps the weight up which does not help development of the muscle. THis guy clearly does not need to develop back anymore so this would not apply to him. lol

  • Shouldn't the elbows be closer to the torso?

  • i don't think his arms are touching his torso.. he's huge haha

  • any grip is allowed..a wider grip works on the lats more...dude as long as you get the fucking weight up does it really matter!

  • this is weight lifting boy. No some pussy form critiquing fest

  • It's certainly not bodybuilding, girlie.

  • they say muscles grow better with 5-8 reps and strength better with 1-4 reps

but you are right time is the deciding factor as long as you got the intensity

  • Bro, this is a really good lift, excellent grip.

  • that is insane.

wouldnt expect that from someone who wears a black sweater and tuque to the gym.

  • thats how you get a big back!!

  • this is one strong mofo. most of the guys commenting cant even deadlift that. haha

  • fuckin hell! i was expectin to see some beefy asshole trying to impress idiots with heavy weights and shitty form... but you can lug that shit with relative strict movements!!

    Well done man.

  • Nice, very nice!

  • Very impressive lift man, but I can't help but feel you would benefit from lowering it slightly and going for a more controlled lift as you can see the bar is pulling you down slightly, which may also stop you from having perfect back position i.e. straight.

  • i dunno, this is more like an improper shoulder shrug.

  • HOLY SHIT!!!

    A 405lb bent over row!

    THAT'S ACTUALLY BENT OVER!!!

  • I hate that when people are like "oh you better use a belt!" fuck that. use a belt when you feel the need to.

  • damn nice job man!! monster

  • nice, but use a belt. it aint being pussy if you use belt

  • yes it is.

  • good stuff!

  • oh shit....

u r doing something that i can not do....

    that is fucking awesome....

i wish i could do that

  • Wow that was an impressive performance!

  • thanks bro!

  • wow great form for such heavy weight

  • thanks hoss!!

  • i have the some problem big pull and big row and big squat but too slow to get under the big weight for oly lifting.

  • yep.. you have to be athletic to olympic lift. powerlifting... not so much.

  • dude good job there very few people could row with 405lbs and its hard to have good form rowing with heavy iron like that...mr olympia ronnie coleman rows with 500lbs and he does his rows short and fast and his back his huge...

  • very good...now if i could just get you into olympic lifting...

  • i'm too slow, fat and stupid for olympic lifting:)

  • you just rowed what I pull, :(

    great strength!

  • thanks!!
