so i downloaded cool edit last night and made a track and followed these instructions, it all worked out, but today when i tried to start a new project i couldnt import my mp3 instrumental,..well it imports, but when i press play the only sound is static and cracks and pops...its also reads out as just a flatline....ive uninstalled then reinstalled cool edit, but the problem is still happenening, any one hav any ideas what could b causing this?

@christopher87105 you usually copy them on the track.. otherwise its sounds sloppy if you re record each verse,... but some people do it... if you would like you can add, add libs noises or words that pertain to the rap or voice lol hoped this helped

To jeff get big 1 when u record a vocal and it only plays thru one side go to FX and add channel mixer drag to the right both at 100 and it will sound way better it will put power behind your vocals and it will give it full dynamics in both side speakers or headphones hope it helped.
