If people are still playing DoA4 on Live, that should be a good thing due to the $20 price tag in retails. On topic, how do you do the more complicated throw/hold techniques for Hayabusa (in which he sends the foe flying and throws the opponent down)? I had a lot of trouble as well as the air to throw combo.

I start learning Izuna drops since DOA1 on PSX/Saturn, then DOA2 on Dreamcast, DOA3/DOA:U on Original Xbox and now I'm playing DOA4 for about 2 years now on 360 so You could say that it runs in my veins :)

time it rite by waiting for the "combo" sign to pop up

rite after u initiate the the throw u start it rite away but wait for the last part other wise it wont resister the last part of the throw "the spining part down " it would just be a strait drop which penilizes teh damage from full to half just like that

I just completed all Exercises with all characters (including Hayate). I noticed the counters which involve Ryu's Izuna Drops have a reverse command on the second hit, and the final hit is always a 360 motion in either direction. That helped a lot. After I get an ISP and Live, I'll give the online matches a shot here.

On number 56... where Ryu goes into Ongyon mode... or whatever, there is some kind of glitch i saw a couple people do online. They are able to do that move over and over again about every half a second... does anyone know how??

I've never played this game, I was just curious what Ryu was like in this game, he is bad ass in the Ninja Gaiden games and by the looks of it, he kicks ass in this game too. I think instead of the smoke for his teleportation ability, it should be something like a whirlwind effect like what it looks like when he uses The Art Of The Wind Blades or with a blue tracer effect like what it looks like when he uses his "X" counter or the Flying Swallow Technique in Ninja Gaiden. I don't like the smoke

Nothing... The Black arrow is the same as white arrow, but it means that you have to hold it a bit longer.
