To top it off the 302R1 is a limited edition RACE car and the Super Snake is an aftermarket tuning company product. @hondabigredatc Homie you don't even know what 302R I'm talking about. I'm talking about the 2012 Mustang Boss 302R that produces 450 HP all natural. It costs $42000 flat unless you want the Leguna Seca package and then it costs $3000 more for better looks. Its the pony car that is to match up with the ZL1 Camaro. The GT500 dusts the ZL1. As for the 302R, its gonna be a close race that'd I'd love to see.

@stidhamhimer yes its a couple hundred bucks cheaper. But I'd personally pay the money for the camaro, if they can figure out how to get the power down a bit better. For now I wouldn't buy any of them until American companies start putting quality back in their cars. My 95 lexus held up better than them with 247,000 miles.

3 Days ago a guy drove a car like this, actually it might of been a 2010 but he was on the freeway behind me. I was going about 60mph and the guy in his shelby floors it and switches lanes and so I floor my 05 STi. From 60 to 120mph I left him a car length behind. I wonder how it feels to get left behind in a roll by an AWD + 4 Cyl vehicle haha.

I love the shelby Gt500 but to tell you the truth i actually like the 010's stripes. They seem to cover more of the finish, unlike the 011's, there just to thin. Im between buying an 010 shelby Gt500, or an 011 Gt500, or just a regular 011 mustang v6 (idk if its the 5.0 )performance package. could some one tell me which is a better buy, price range, mpg. @1911Solution88 No independent suspension yet. Despite having a live rear axle, the new Mustang handles better than some cars with independent suspension. The new Stang even out handles it's porker competitor the Camaro. Driving the new Stang, you wouldn't even notice its a live axle (which is implemented for drag racing).

However if you get roush or the KR, price goes up, I believe around 80,000. you can pick up a corvette new for 48,000. However the 1/4 mile times are .1 of a second off.

@blairBROKEN exactly so basically what i was saying is to get a mustang that matches a corvettes speed your gonna have to pay nearly twice as much...and then you also have to consider that the gt500 is already supercharged with a small 5.4 liter v8 in it while the corvette coupe has a 6.2 liter n/a engine which can easily be modded..yes i will agree that when it comes to "nice cars" the gt500 beats the vette coupe...but if you throw out the extra 6k for the grand sport it's faster and nicer

Probably the GT350, its LIGHTER and it recieves pieces from ford racing suspesions.

Will have to see how the GT500 does with SVT's track pack on it.

If you want a track car, the GT350 wins hands down.
