I think every big tournaments including EVO should have a classic section where one or more of the classic (one or two generation previous or the best prior to the latest version) versions of the various fighting games might be in. cause even with the latest version of SF, KOF, MK and so on, we still love and play the old all time favorite ones such as third strike, kof98, 02 (or 02um), MvC1 n 2, CvS2, MK2, UMK3 etc. Those games are still hard,competitive n deserves places in modern tournaments.
