Also, I am so glad that you caught one of my favorite types of art ON TAPE, woot! Thankyou!!!!

  • I really thought it was before she said something >_> I'll hold on to m dreams

  • this is a great video ... thank you for the laughter arigatougozaimashita

  • Have you seen all three floors plus two more?

  • Always hilarious!

  • i agree ....it is art compared to some crap i ve seen.....

  • YOU WERE IN DC???? OMG!!!! I COULD HAVE MET YOU! T_T

  • lol she is really nice.

  • haha u and this lady can be commedian.

  • Ken, Love your deconstructionist approach to art!!! I am an art handler and ergo, someone who makes those kind of artful messes! I busted up laughing when I saw your video. Sometimes I am contracted to go work for the Smithsonian Museum of American Art to help install an exhibit, so I know the gallery you were in. My friends, co-workers from the museum told me about your video! WE LOVE IT, and appreciate your humor! You made my day!

  • Anything can be modern art and people have made millions from not making there bed in the morning and putting it in an exhibition. And it does represent the disposable chuck away society we live in, clever and funny guy.

  • i laugh hard!

  • well...if they id not wnt people thinking its are they should put this exhiit is closed or this is NOT art...in big red letters xD

  • Win. Who made it? The janitors :)

  • hahaha that was hilarious! its true modern art is very strange, personally im not a fan and i find it quite annoying when people win awards for putting a stool on top of a chair.

  • "the beauty and simplicity of please do not enter"

  • hahahahaha.. DO NOT ENTER hhahaha.. his favourit hahaha.

  • hahahahaha.. DO NOT ENTER hhahaha..

  • @helpmefindparents Oh my gosh! Ken Tanaka! Didn't you play a role in that movie "Shoot 'Em Up"? Near the end? Part of that small gang who try to rob the Ice Cream Parlour?

    I'm sure it's you..........

  • @rawrsaidthemouse yes he is..and you can see him in other movies....

  • @frozenlicks I didn't know that xD

  • ^-^ I love yours videos, they make me so happy! This was also on my birthday, so it made it extra special! Thank you Ken-san!

  • @EveryDayCosplay OH, Happy Birthday!

  • Classical.

  • it can't be :D

  • ahahaha

  • Haha, so funny. Great work on Always Sunny!

  • A commentary on the disposable american society! loll oh \ken you're good!

  • Lady killer Ken XD

  • what part you think is beautiful? the yellow trash can?

Its nice that she was so nice and laughed and enjoyed herself. Most people wouldn't have been as nice as her.

  • loooooooooooooooool xD

  • This is quite funny!

  • i think i found ken's twin brother, look at 27:14 on this link

loombo(dot)com/gjo0ovlhoghv (also appears earlier, but this is the best view)

the guy looks exactly like ken and please don't mark as spam because it's a link

  • hahaha this is just simply hilarious! :D

  • LOL

  • How dare that bitch tell you what can and cannot be your favorite. Hmph.

  • @TheDoctopus

I don't think she was being a bitch. A lot of things could be considered art these days and I think she just found it funny that Ken's favorite "exhibit" was the result of someone cleaning up rather than something that was meant to be art.

  • that was great

  • LOL!! I thought that was an art! haha..^0^ Your videos are really funny!

And the captions were very kind to understand this video. ^^

  • greta logic, it is art otherwise it wouldn't be in a museum

  • haha borat but more innocent

  • @seonidh LOL YES!!!

  • LMFAO!!! X)

  • hey whats with the fake accent? Why are you making fun of japanese people what did they ever do to you.

  • @Drahgoon He's a Japanese citizen. Watch his earlier vids.

  • @Lionwolf0777 No, he's an actor called David Ury.

  • @Drahgoon he is born in japan thats why the accent

  • lmao

  • omg that is hilarious!! "It is called Please Do Not Enter" LOL!!!!!

  • Tanaka, this was hilarious!

  • lol, you're too funny!

  • the custodian at the mistonian :D

  • Of course it can be his favorite!

  • Tanaka-先輩 laughing so hard my facial structure is suspect!

  • Hahahaha!! Suge omoshiroi yane!

    Cho~ ukeru~~! (*.*)

    Ken san omoshiroi na~~!

  • laughed so hard

  • I really love this type of artwork. Seriously based on the other exhibits you showed photos of i think please do not enter was the only one that really made any kind of statement. i love modern art and i can tell Ken has an eye for it too!

  • proves that modern art is pointless shit

  • I have watched this so many time and it still makes me laugh....so funny. But seriously now though, whether it is a joke or not as an art student we a taught about finding art in everyday things and places where you least expect it. LOL but sometimes you see an artist claim something as art and really it is just "rubbish" HAHA.

awesome reasoning behind the "piece" though "The disposable American society" :D

What part you think is beautiful?.....the yellow trash can?! hehehe too funny

  • Comment removed

  • Haha, was laughing the whole time :p

  • awesome

  • no joke, i like this too, the lighting is perfect!

  • Ken, you are right !!! Who can say this is art and that one no !!! Art is something related to emotions first. So anything that ... you got it.

  • りっぱなアートだな(笑)

  • This was hilarious!

  • i love how americans are so talkative in general.

  • This was adorable.

  • Hilarious!

  • you are amazing :)

  • lol

  • omg i love you man!!! You're hilarious!!! <3

    本当にありがとうございます。

  • lmao .. ken you are too much lol

  • Ha! He`s right, technically it is art.

  • ken u are so funny~! i like the "please do not enter" too

  • This was simply hilarious.

  • oh man, I walk past there every day to work. I wish I knew you were coming and say hi.

  • HILARIOUS! Oh man.

"But, it is art. Otherwise it wouldn't be in the musuem. This is a very famous museum. It's the Smithsonian..."

I'm speechless. Very nice, Ken, very nice. (:

  • somehow i think that IS an artpiece...why would anyone clean the display half way and then leave all the remaining garbage right at the center of the display area along with "Please do not enter" sign?? Who would wanna take garbage home in the first place??? It doesnt make any sense to me..

Probably the security made a mistake thinking it is a garbage...

  • the day "art" got pwned

  • you are a funny, funny man Mr. Ken Tanaka!!! Keep up the great work.

    Peace!

  • I LOVE THIS HAHA

  • Great video thumbs up.

  • this is awesome

  • Awesome vid.

It's just hard to believe that you're technically a white boy (from the U.S. no less) who was raised by loving Japanese parents . . .

    . . . Did I get that right?

  • It is indeed beautiful :D

  • I like your sense for art :)

Its an awesome piece of art.

  • Ken, did you find out who the artist is?

  • Ken, you made my day! You made me laugh so much - you have a great sense of humor and I love the way you made the guards laugh and the audience gather around the "Please Not Enter" sign. You're awesome, Ken!

  • That is absolutely brilliant. There is so much debate about what is -- and isn't -- art. This short video sums up the issue, without heavy technical or academic posturing. It's a conversation between two people on opposite sides of the issue (even if Ken was being deliberately tongue-in-cheek about it.)

    Funny. Smart. Cool.

    You rock, Ken.

  • you know that lady probably went home and told all her friends "about this guy that came in to the museum"..... haha

  • Your English is getting better! Keep studying! Don't be too good though.

  • This made me laugh.

  • Ken, you probably made her day. She must have laughed over that all week!

  • HAHAHA this is hilarious... ;)

  • Wow that was really funny.

  • ken you're my light everyday and you're videos make me so happy

    Arigato~~

  • I always found the piece "DOOR IS ALARMED" to be a sweeping statement on the pressures of a modern industrial society. I've seen many copies, but I prefer the original.

  • haha i still remember that video !!! u are freakin hillarious

  • Ken you are amazing!!

  • I love it!

  • i love this man

  • *LOL* Awesome! xD

The woman's voice was so hypnotic and mysterious in some way... she could be some sort of voice actor. :D

  • is this his real accent?

  • lol i cracked up laughing lol

  • funny........................ your just great.

  • That too was my favorite exhibit except the guards did not seem to have such a good sense of humor while I was trying to contribute to the exhibit.

  • Ken, A lovely entry for your blog. Although it may have not been intentional. Presented as a piece of artwork, it stands on its own. Someone should tell the maintainence crew to do that more often of they must leave work out for the public during open hours. It could help them discover the hidden artist in them all, sukoshi. :-)

  • I do like that Do not enter as well ken Tanaka, I'd even call it Epic. Love the security guards reaction as well XD

  • The masterpiece of "Do not Enter" is has an unfathomable message that leaves many people in awe.

  • I remember when you posted the original video! It's hard to believe I've been watching you for over 2 years now :)

  • lol hilarious XD

  • omg i like died while watching this!! >,<

    漫才だったらケンさんは絶対ボケだと思うwlove you too~~!

  • you are funny.

  • Haha you are really funny!

  • I have a quite similar installation in my flat ;)

  • Ken Tanaka is freaking funny!!

  • What an awesome guard. I bet you made her day. :)

  • The dialogue between you are the security guard about "Do Not Enter" was hilarious.

  • genius? most certainly.

  • I like the way the light falls on the trash can. It is ironic that the unintentional art is the most poignant.

  • Hahaha, perfect!

  • lol

  • ken tanaka, karaoke steve is all david ury

  • You are fun to watch, sir (I just wanted you to know that) =^+^=

  • Genius. I want a tshirt.

  • hahaha! xD

  • Hehehe, this is hilarious. XD

  • hilarious, love your videos ken, keep it up :)

  • Reminds me of Marce Du Champ. Lovely Ken. Nice Dada rendition.

  • "This cannot be your favorite"

  • Brilliant

  • lol, awesome...I used to do that here at the Orlando Museum of Art, I made some artist bio cards and would randomly put them on things likie a mop left in a bucket, or one time on a half painted wall with scafolding. its so funny what people will go along with "it says allot about what people think about art"

  • hahaha ! tis is so wondrous funny !! thank u !! really laugh cant stop !! hahaha !

  • loves it!

  • This made me very happy :) Please Do Not Enter really is a beautiful piece of art.

  • Hey Ken-chan! Very funny!!

  • Hahahahaha............... That was awesome

  • it´s called: "please do not enter", this vid is just brilliant xD

  • Art is what you make of it.

  • Awww Ken! That was so innocently sweet! Art is all around us, but it takes a special person to point out the unknown beauty :).

  • Good fun xD

  • it's funny cause could totally be art
